Hi All, Don't know how many of you know about this, but my car was involved in this minor accident on Dominion Road on the 31th of October Last year. They had to Replace the front impact bar, Grille, and Euro Plate Holder. They also fixed the front bumper. I got my Lexus Dealer recommendation and went to a Toyota New Zealand Approved Panel Beater in Browns Bay. They did not do a really good job fixing the front bumper and year after, the front paint started peeling and cracking in little areas area the impact area...so I got the advice of the insurance company and went back to them on Tuesday, I also got them to fix the rear bumper and got it repainted...They did a pretty good job on the rear but they forgot to clearcoat the bottom of the bumper!!! Well they it a even worst job than last time in the front, they did fox the panel part which they did a bad job last year, but while the fix that up no only did they forgot one of the job I got them to do. The damaged my plate holder and blamed it on me. then have clear coat on some parts and not some part...:( they also stuffed my wheels up, now there are black paint on there which I can't get rid off...so I m planning to either get some aftermarket ones or get them polished..:D, they did a worst job than last time, I m planning to go back tomorrow and get them to fix up the parts they forgot beside the grille and clearcoat the bottom rear bumper, then I will call my insaurance company and ask for a new panal beater and get my front bumper repainted again... What they have done wrong... -Damaged My Alloy Wheels (Black Paint) which I can't get rif off. -Damaged my Front Plate Holder. -Used around 80-180km while my car was under their hands. -While fixing the previous job they stuffed the part which was not needed to fix... This place is called Br*wns B*y Panel Beaters and ECB E*roPe*n P&P...bad customer service when they are in the wrong. Gav you know who they are... These are also some of the other Black list of Sh*t customer service and poor quality of work done. M*g And T*rbo P*nm*re Hyp*r Ti*es The P*ts Have a good week guys and hopefully I can get everything sorted by the end of this working week...I will be leaving a few days later because of this... Matt :D

Thatd because the Standard Altezzas is already fitted with factory lowering springs...and you lower it by another 30mm....so thats might be the case, also don't trust Mag and Turbo on their alignment... Matt :D

Hi all, Nothing really done much to my car, only after market intake and springs, but my car went back into the Panel Shop today for some rock chips and dent repair and my dealer kindly loan me a loaner IS300 bone stck (off-course), but I head up north to Riverhead and Coatesville and the stock springs handling are nowhere as good as my Lsportline springs, I always though i totally wasted my money on it...but found out there are worth every penny...also the intake really helped that extra kick in 2nd - 4th gear, and I get to keep my factory air box :D which made me happy...whoa it just good to find out when you spent that money it actaully goes somewhere, money well spent, i reckon modifications like bigger wheels and bodykit, raceseats and interior mods like alot of boy-racer does are absolute pointless when that $ can well go into some nice suspension work and into the engine bay...changes alot more and make you feel alot better...most BMW 3 Series Coupe and Holden HSV drivers only have those thing to make some part of their body more noticable....lolz... Matt :D Some report of what these type of mods may give you... Lsportline Springs (Made by Eibach - Germany), lowers car by 1.4 inch all round and keeps the stock comfort and the right height from the ground...handles alot better than stock IS springs...and it give me around 5 - 10kmh more on corners both countryside and city turns... PLP Intake (Made by TrueFlow - USA), Improve extra meeded power for over taking and urgent speed on 2nd, 3rd and 4th gear on both e-shift and gate-shift... Continental Sports Contact - very noticable less noise compare to stock Dunlops...even after my car is lowered it is still alot smoother on highway and normal roads...less road noise, and gives more steering, more acurate shoudl I say? dosen't give me anymore kmh on corners like the springs, but its enough to notice that it gave me better steering and alot more smoother and lees road noise fromt he dunlops... All these after-market replacement are all worth the money and more nice stuff will keep on coming as long as money bank account are not empty....donations are welcome.....PM me for details.lolz.. :D Matt B)

I m not too keen on replicas...Keith, The reason why I like Lsportline is not all about the marketing, its just that their stuff suits me, subtle yet sporty...:) not many brands out there are like that made for the Toyota / lexus range, well Tom's does but they are even more damn expensive...:( lolz...will get back to you soon...I think getting a panel shop to paint them blue and say lsportline will make it cost alot more...lolz.. Matt :)
-
Hey keith, You want a HKS filter? whoa I though you are not into moding cars my friend...lolz...well it does save you good money sice you never have to get another one again... Matt :)
