  1. nice ride... nice color too!!
  2. congratulations :)
  3. this is quite common.. also car can start lurching when braking as the engine pulls forward and can open up the crack. best have the engine mounts checked at the same time for wear and tear.
  4. personally i would stay away from that sort of mileage unless the price is really really good.
  5. I think there are recon ones available from the states.. been a while since i have seen them available though
  6. I have created a new dedicated IS250 Section. All IS250 threads posted here have now been moved to the following section. http://au.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showforum=35 You can also see this section listed on the front of the forums. Enjoy ;)

  10. Nice ride there mate.. they are quick too!
  11. hi You need to register to LOC US to be able to post ;)
  12. used to own a manual TT and it was a fantastic motor.
  13. not sure on the extra.. i would doubt it I have only seen a few gold ones in the flesh
  14. Hey welcome to LOCAU! Nice colour! Any mods planned?
  15. of all the cars i have owned i have only ever used a spare once. I prefer the space saver if you know that you can drive 20 miles to the nearest tyre place. But i agree that cars in Australia or even USA should have something better because of the the distance if stuck in the middle of nowhere A can of tyre weld could help for a short while too i guess.
  16. no worries I have towed with a GS300 and the fuel difference was not that worse as you tend to drive more economically anyway when towing. Harrier is a solid 4x4 with a rock solid Transmission! Just make sure you fit the Tranny cooler first though.
  17. up to 97 i know they are a 4 speed.. sure the series 2 was the same as they used the same engine and gearbox.
  18. hi firstly you may need to contact Toyota to see if the transmission needs a cooler.. these are not that expensive and worthy investment to keep your transmission box cool. Most automatics may require this for such heavy weight. I dont think the harrier will have a problem pulling that weight at all. I have pulled over 1000kg with a much smaller car. Best check the manual for towing (if it has it) or dealer will tell you towing capacity
  19. best invest in a can of Toyota Long Life coolant... coolant will not corrode inside the engine... so the weaker the mix the more chance of corrosion. Like the above post a small bit is ok.. but best get a can just in case.
  20. terry Garage on the Uk boards are unavaialble at the moment. log in here is different to the UK boards.. seperate database altogether. cheers
  21. firstly have you checked for prices from your Lexus dealer? Also there are some aftermarket gear knobs.. I quite like sparco knobs
