    Off-topic ... I was just looking at photos of meets that took place before I joined this forum. I saw LEX51S' car in stock form. LOL .. I can't believe it. And 16" wheels too.

    Nah, it was most def STOOLN... 'stolen' maybe? Black euro style plates.

    Indeed, LEX51S' car is looking very nice these days!

    but if you wanna get the whole car done it cost around 3-4K i was told

    post pics u[ of your new ride when you can mate

    and make sure you come to the next ALOC official meet

    I've had it done and am very very happy with it.. With the driving I've done, my last car on the same routes and distance was sandblasted to all hell

    the lex - no marks

    the only pain is that if you dont keep it clean you see a line across the bonnet, but this can be solved by paying extra to get the whole bonnet done instead of the leading edge (1/4)

    i paid 795 for the leading edge of the bonnet, front guards, full front bumper, rear bumper lip where it meets the boot lid, door cups and rear vision mirror fronts

    i had it done by universal shield in brookvale, good mob, they do the mini cup cars etc but ive heard ozicozi do a lot of high end stuff, might be worth checkign them out

  3. guys i have successfully source out the latest drl headlamp. it's 100% genuine factory lexus 2011 is250 set of headlamp, costing about 4k-5k. i wonder if anyone is interested. one thing thou. these headlamp comes from lexus asia. and i wonder if it will fit aus 2011 lexus spec. hmmm...anyone interested to find it out?

    What happened to your $700 figure you said previously?

    Source from asia and cost about $A 700 without bulbs. i dont think i can have the next model up with $A700.

  4. thanks man, yeah I saw those on the CL forums in the many resonator delete threads, but wanted to see what Lehman had to say about it before i made my way out there to check it out for myself

    i found when i had a resonator delete on my old cap before i went 2.25 turbo back, that a the cheap thin walled pipe they used caused a massive drone

    replaced it with some thicker stuff, problem solved.

    I've got 20x10 on the rear of mine with 275 rubber.

    Fits perfectly without any scrubbing or guard massaging.

    You just need the correct offset (+45mm).

    Looks delicious from behind too :)

    What are you running up front? I have 19x8.5's +45 ET with 235/35 rubber, and it *just* clears the guards

    Thinking of changing the rims to something lighter and better looking, but I'm tossing up whether to go an 8inch or 8.5 again with 225 rubber to give it a tiny stretch. I would have gone an 8 this time, except that the style I got doesn't come in an 8 up front.

    Nice to see someone else sportin 275's out back... I have 275 KU31's on 9.5 wide rims... Looks phat :)

  6. Quick question guy, Someone told me the X alloy is shadow crome and I should not get one of the mobile guys to repair it. The guys that do proper alloy repairs want 360 per rim to repair. What do you guy's think?

    Has anyone got a IS250 X type wheel repaired before by one of the mobile guys?

    FWIW, one of the guys here with a LS460 had a major scrape repaired and it looks perfect

    I recal it wasn't cheap though, I think it was around the $160 mark from memory
