  1. I agree that the inside is very dated now but after weighing up performance (naturally aspirated V8), reliability. bulid quality, value for money etc. there not much that compares with the ISF.

yes, this is why I still have my bucket of bolts and havent bother to change.Need $150K to find something interesting.

Will keep for another year and give the GF to drive around. LOL

  2. My renewal only just came in and it is around $1,400.00, I'm + 40 with rating one.

    RACV

car is listed for business also.

My renewal was also the similar, I did a new quote on the site and it came down to 1200, then I called them up, asked them explain themselves :)

Got a new quote now from them just under 1100.

I would say, at a minimum try the Online quote and also increase the excess to 1000 or 1500 - There's no way you'll end up having less damage than than in an accident anyway - these cars can get expensive to fix :)

Thanks for the thought and interest, I might look at it. But then again I am lazy

In regards to ease of claim (touch wood), I have not had an accident but did make a windscreen claim this year. I wanted an original Lexus windscreen fitted by Lexus and they have no issue, I paid for it and they reimbursed me in a week or two. So on side it was excellent.

  3. Not sure of your timing but mine might be on the market Oct - Nov.

2010 80,000km mostly freeway driving and well looked after. An idea of how it was been driven, still on same rotors front and rear. Always serviced by Lexus Melbourne as per the book, stock except ADVAN rims.

Anyhow, if you are still in the market then, feel free to PM me.

Only reason it will be on the market is time for change as second lease will be up and have to decide if to keep for GF and get another car for me or just move on with another car.

    Car is in Vic.

I can't believe it. From from the start turning onto the street I thought I know that area.

Anyhow sounds nice but not sure if I would like for a DD.

  6. If your phone is in your pocket it may interfere with the signal , I always out my phone in aeroplane mode (cut out all signal/ transmission) when I approach the vehicle, if you have iOS 7 (iPhone), just swipe up from the lock screen and press the aeroplane logo, then you can use the key in the same pocket as your phone, and there will be no distractions from the phone when driving (ie, vibration) as aeroplane mode cuts out all signals/transmission from phone :)

Most keyless entry systems on cars have this problem, (when phone is next or near to key fob).

I don't put my phone and key in same pocket or keep put them on top of each other when on the bench. Understood this could deminsh the battery life for key.
