  1. Hi Guys,

Just clearing out my Garage, OEM 2010 ISF Coil overs, will fit IS 250/350 but please check with your local Lexus Dealer.

The suspension has less than 5000kms since new, could also suit ISF with high kms in need for new shocks.

Please note the top mounts are not included and you would need to use your current ones.

Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions

    Price: $450

  2. Hi Guys,

A few of you have been asking me about the HPS Silicone Intake hose, so thought it would be beneficial to post up some info here...

Comes in 3 colours now black, blue and red.

Can be easily shipped from Figs Engineering for around $200 - Drop Mike Figaro an email. Great guy and great service.

    http://shopfigs.com/...gory&path=63_64

I also picked up an AFE dry filter from Amazon $65 shipped

    http://www.amazon.co... dry filter isf

Great little Intake upgrade for under $300 - Great response when the second intake opens & will help keep intake temps low as it starts to warm up. The quality is allot better than the Japanese I-Code unit for half the price.

Can also be purchased directly from HPS for around $225 shipped

  3. Hi,

I'm sure headers were around $2200.00, I'll have to check the forum threads.

I was at Lexus in Brisbane last week and that was their estimate, they are waiting on Chatswood for results on these and final cost

Just a thought, your header pricing from the states, was that for lefties or for our cars? PPE had to develop special headers for Oz, left is not the same as right so be careful, Oz headers are a special build from PPE.

    Brisman

I think it was around the 2900 mark mate, which is fair if you take into account ceramic coating, high flow cats, shipping and almost 6 - 7hrs labour on install.

  4. Hey Guys,

I came across this site in the states which has Sikky Headers for $1200 and Joey Z Exhaust for $1599. I got quoted 3k by Lexus of Chatswood and another 3k for the headers so its a significant saving. : http://vipautosalon....ent-use20-1?p=9

I have looked into freight and the exhaust is $480 to send over. Anyone want to do a group buy? Im sure we could get the exhaust a few hundred off?

    Hi Mate,

Welcome to the forums, out of curiosity where are you getting the shipping quotes from ? Reason I ask is, there's a fair bit that goes into shipping and handling with the exhaust & I remember getting quoted close to $950 for shipping (L-Tuned) - also if there is no clear indication the exhaust is made in the USA you may get hit with import and GST.... I'm with Donald on this, do it once and do it right. Stick with Chatswood and save yourself the hassles.

Also you may want to read this thread before dealing with VIP - a little hit and miss - http://www.clublexus...on-problem.html

Also in regards to headers, those are not for the right hand drive cars - only PPE make them and from what I hear they just arrived last week. There's a few owners in Sydney lined up for the install this week from what I hear. These are the ones you're after - http://www.ppeengine...c?categoryId=80

Don't forget there's a few hours labour involved with the install so take that into consideration with pricing etc.

    Cheers

    Mike

  5. Thanks for being so proactive Danny, always nice to have new options but need to ask the tough questions before pulling the trigger on stuff like this.

My guess is the new ECU module is replaced or acts as a piggy back and then tuned to the mods on your car. So you are paying roughly half the amount to Mr Wantabe to tune the car.

$4200 is very steep though imo, in comparison it cost me half that to tune my C63 from Evolve (around 50kw atw but the car was detuned to start with)

I'd be surprised if you get 15kw to be honest, on a N/A car it's just adjusting air and fuel ratio and timing to match your mods unless the car is restricted to start with.

Why is everything from this mob so expensive, they have just set-up shop as well, sounds like they are trying to recover capital or R&D quickly...

Also I have to ask what happens if something fails and the car goes into limp mode or runs too lean and something breaks .... will Lexus pick up the tab under warranty or do we have to fly this dude down again.

    Cheers

    Mike

  6. Hi Guys,

These have been in storage for over a year. Been on the car for the first 5000km only.

    Sizes are 19 x 8 front offset ET:45 and 19 x 9 rear offset ET:55

Comes with OE Brigestone's Front 225/40 and Rear 255/35 approx 70 - 75% tread left.

Should fit 250 / 350 as well. Will tr and get some pics this weekend.

The wheels are in Excellent new condition with no gutter rashes or scratches.

    Contact me if you

Wheels retail around 2K each from Lexus Australia

Price $3400 neg for the set with tyres.

    Cheers

    Mike

  7. Thanks again fellows - much appreciated

The tires were $276 each front and $304 each rear, shipping cost on 4 with FedEx Economy ( 5-6 days ) will be $353.41 for a total of $1,513.41 USD delivered.

If shipped 2 at a time the freight cost on the fronts will be $267.63 and for the rears $286.85 ( $554.48 combined)

I opted to get them 2 at a time to avoid duty + taxes and other clearence charges. Hope that helps. Cheapest I found in Aus was 550 each for front and 650 each for rear.

My fenders are rolled so theres still plenty of room to cater for bigger tyres. 295 in some brands were possible but the Michelins were too chubby.

Didn't want to compromise on the PSS.

    Cheers

    Mike

  8. Hi Guys,

Wheels finally arrived yesterday, got a chance to take a few pics today. Specs are 19x9 front and 19x10.5 rear in brushed tinted.

HRE finish is simply amazing. weight is around 9kgs - Car seems to handle, brake and perform a whole lot better. Running Michelins PSS 245 / 275

  9. 4 tyres cost me $360 from tyre rack to ship. Got Michelin Pilot Super Sports in the size I wanted 245 and 275. Probabl saved about $450-500

I am in Sydney, Northern suburbs, any recommendations on where to get the tyres fitted. Have had the tyres for over a month and plan to fit them next week.

Take it to tyreplus in Chatswood, speak to Roger and tell him Mike sent you.

He's a mate and has the latest fitting equipment that won't scratch your rims

    http://www.tyrepluschatswood.com.au/

He's also the HRE and ADVAN dealer if ur interested in rims

  10. How much was shipping for your set of tyres Mike? $350?

    Hey Mate,

Yeah if you do 4 they are approx 350, I did 2 at a time to avoid duty / GST / clearance charges. shipping was around 250 for 2 at a time.

Still worked out about 1000 in front compared to Australian tyre prices esp Michelins. Just a heads-up Tirerack only accept Int. money transfer for O/S purchases.

Highly recommended received the tyres in 5 days via Fedex..... just waiting on my HRE wheels now :)

    Cheers

    Mike

  11. All the best with the sale. I'm tempted but I should hold my money for the headers. Out of curiosity what rim style are you going to?

Free bump to keep it on topic :)

Thanks buddy :) - won't be here till August so if you change your mind drop me a PM.

getting a set of super light forged monoblok HRE P40's with custom offsets made to run some serious fats on the rear :D

  13. Excellent news... I'm hanging out.

Revised set sent and being fitted this week. then 380-400 hp at wheels here we come.

Thanks for the update Richie, you mentioned taking one for a drive in the states - in your honest opinion did it feel that much more quicker to you ?

The reason I'm a little sceptic is the exhaust alone on my car registered +6KW and at the very top of the rev range on a mainline dyno. Don't get me wrong I love the Joe-Z, the sound itself is worth every $ but what concerns me are the inflated figures on the US sites ... or is it just that ISF's in general produce inconsistent figures because of the ECU ??

    Cheers

    Mike
