That's so weird. Did you mention another awesome dude called up and emailed recently about it?
$950 is really different to what was quote ($330-380) back on page 1!
Both quotes make sense to me. Sewell parts sells the 2006-2008 for $US305 (unpainted) without CL discount, and $US681 (painted) without CL discount. Hence, the the disparity between $380-odd and $950 quoted in this thread.
For those interest, Part #: 0815453831 for 06-08 and Part #: 0815453841 for 09-10

Could even be your fuel cap.

What did you do with your previous wheels?
-
Thanks for clearing that up, Lexus Nerd. Totally makes sense now.

When you say sun visors, do you mean the weather shields? Or sun visors that you drop down when the sun is in your eyes? Can you link a picture to what you mean?

I had a chip on my front bumper about 15mm in length. I called up the Touchup Guys. They came to my house the next day, took just under 2 hours from the time they arrived until the time they left, and costed $250. I was very pleased with the job.

Whoa!! You're going to replace your stock sub with a stock sub? For a little more, you can get a nice Morel Sub, and a monoblock amp to power it.

Which carpark in Rhodes?

Here it is
They look AWESOME!! How do they feel to drive on? Much harsher than your 16s?

I was lucky enough to pick up some brand new genuine lexus 18" rims for a good price
Pictures please!!! Where did you get them?
-
It doesn't have to be doof doof bass - sometimes I just want to be able to hear SOME bass!
Perhaps at some point in the future, I'll upgrade the subwoofer. I still want it to look stock, so I believe the largest I'll be able to go with be a 10" sub... and of course I'll have to have a seperate monobloc to run it.

I've been wondering about the same thing.....

Hi Lykemike. Yes, it will work in your IS250 - I have it in mine. It works in Lexus and Toyota Sat Nav units.
-
Any idea as to what I need to do next? Many thanks.
Hi summer_oasis
I can understand your frustration - if they say that they'll ring you back, then they should. However, it appears that the people you've dealt with are on the sales side of things.
I agree with Lexus Nerd - just take your car to the service department - they'll take care of it. I've done this unannounced a couple of times at Parramatta without any problems whatsoever.
-
At the moment, im not too impressed with the service that chatswood has given me.
What happened?
-
BigDenis - I'll whip the camera out later and grab a pic.
That would be very much appreciated - thanks.
Did you also purchase the smart accelerator controller harness?
-
Can you take a picture of how it looks in your car?
-
GSE20R-AETLHW is correct.
-
You don't. Lexus built the transmission to be service-free, and is sealed. It will supposedly last the life-time of the car. If you dropped the pan to change the transmission fluid, you would only be replacing 15 to 20 of the transmission fluid.

Nice work! I would love to see it out in the sun with a picture take square on.

1600rpm is normal idle for a cold engine.
600rpm is normal for a warmed up engine.
Mine:
1500rpm for a cold engine.
700rpm for warmed up engine.

Yeah - they're nothing alike..... but it's the closest thing :P

Hi ich1ban
I note that you've missed one of the grades of the IS250. It is as follows, front base to top-of the range:
- Prestige
- X
- Sports of F Sport
- Sport Luxury
Regarding the differnces from year to year, read the following:
