Yea I know that it won't be legal be that the engine number will be for a old engine but being a mechanic i know people in the trade to keep me on the road, theoretically speaking the head should bolt straight up being that they are both from the g family right quote me if I'm wrong. The hole turbo thing is what I'm in the dark I don't know how they are rated what size works well for what engine etc. so if someone could fill me in that would be great.

Hi guys I have has my is200 for a little over 2 years now and want to get a bit more power out of it. Seeing that I am a mechanic for Toyota and have very basic knowledge when it comes to turbos and experience in power tuning and in saying that I would like to change my block with a 1ggte block and keep my head so I don't have to change ecu.my questions are what turbo to use?, what other parts am I looking at other then front mount, turbo, piping, injectors and any opinions people may have about me doing this. Thanks anyone's input would help heaps

hi guys i determined that it was infact the injector so now just wondering if anyone has a injector laying around they want to sell me or know where i can get a second hand one caause geniune is pricey thanks

yer sorry for the late reply yer i already swaped coils over but still from cyclinder 3 and the plugs had abit of carbon on them they were the first thing i replaced and still there it comes and goes

hi guys just wanted some insight my is200 misfires from cyclinder 3 when vehicle is driven for long period of time (30-60 min) or if out side temp is high it happens faster and if i turn it off while its running fine and then start it 2 min later it does it aswell i swapped the coils from 2 to3 and still cyclinder 3 then set the injector out to be overhauled and still cyclinder 3 misfire does anyonw know what it could be thanks

hi guys when i bought my is200 i only got the sub key i bought a broken key with buttons from uk for $20 fitted new battery, replaced case and shaft and cut for free from work then i programed the new key to car by turning it into a master key through the ecu but when tring to get the remote coded the car would not enter code mode told by auto locksmith that it was because the ignition key warning noise wasnt working (the noise when you turn the key off and leave it in and open the door) also seat belt warning noise and passenger seat belt light inop i checked over all fuses and relays all ok anyone have any ideas

hi guy ive bought the kit to do the angel headlight rings but before doing to my car i tried to separate headlights just laying around work with a heat blower but by the time i heat one side up the other is cool again and it hasnt turned out to well so im just info on a place that anyone knows of in sydney or a person who would be up to doing it ill pay them of cause

about the molds for door trim it can be done but if you know what you are doing personal i would get it done by an interior place and hooking the speakers you could bridge the for a simply way what will loose high volume quality or you said you have an amp what type and how many channels? if it is 2 channels than you run it off that with the sub but the sub wont get the most power out of it as it would bridged to both channels but if you want the best opption buy another amp 2 or more channels and leave the old one for the sub and for the satnav problem i have no idea sorry about that but it you have any problems with your sound systems ill do my best to help you

hi guys sorry for not introducing my self early i missed the link lol to introduce my self my name is nico i bought a is200 6 months ago and im a 4th year mechanic at sydney city toyota and if anyone need cheaper genuine parts ill try and help uses out with my staff discount :D

and also the 1ge engine commonly burns it does it in mine but thicker oil slows it down if you dont have the time to rebuild the engine
