  1. no permanent solution... but i use the maquires plastic polish #10 and #17.. can be used on any plastic and really does a good job.
  2. the best place for soarer bushes is http://www.vftbushes.com Andrew fabricated all the bushes and are exact toyota replicas... he is based in Australia but ships worldwide
  3. most audio places will have a single din pocket. as for the brackets, I am sure you could reuse the factory one or make some brackets up if you cant. Is it a 20 series or 30 series soarer? the 30 series has a 2.5 din head unit and you will need a 1.5din pocket. these can be found at your local Mazda dealer :)
  4. You can run the same ECU going from auto to manual.. has been done here in Australia a few times. The key is known as a wafer key.. the only function it had from factory was to control central locking. there was no security feature available on the standard keys. Why are you changing the ignition lock for an engine transplant?
  5. the V8 gets very hot around the transmission tunnel even after driving a short while. This gets even worse with the fittment of extractors that have not been ceramic coated. Do you know if the vehicle has extractors fitted? do you have the temperature knob set to hot/cold or inbetween? having it set to hot will still allow air to travel through the lower foot vents even if the climate control is turned off.... Can't really think of anything else off the top of my head...
  6. Just wanted to say hi to everyone who hangs about these forums.... :o feel free to drop me a line if you have any questions relating the the 30 series soarers... :) cheers reepa
