hey guys, i know theres a few topics around on here about the "big" 90k service and i must say, the pricing that ive seen is absolutely ridiculous! Anyway ive got my 90k coming up real soon on my 06' 250, and ive tried looking on here for a complete list of EVERYTHING that lexus do to the car because i would rather give a big list to my mechanic and get charged a lot less! thanks in advanced !

i own an 06 is250 and not long after i bought it, my water pump started leaking and had to get it replaced, but dont remember hearing any sounds similar to yours. i happened to notice it when i removed all engine covers and saw the bottom of my engine all pink lol, and yeah back at the time mine had only done about 75kms

I don't think brand matters too much, it's more so you match the fitment type (D4S) and the oem colour (if you choose to keep the same) I've replaced my bulbs because one side kept going out and other side was flickering. I think my old ones were Phillips and the ones I replaced with were I think Toshiba ones

hey guys, been looking around on the net for as much info on the nav hack for the IS, to be able to use all functionality of the gps while the car is in motion. ive read this link which pretty much tells you how to do it all, but its playing on my mind to do it or not, as apparently the VSS stuffs up? Are there any other problems/glitches with this process? Would it better to purchase an override harness so theres no cutting wires and what not? Cheers guys

Hey guys, I've recently put a sub and amp in my car, but believe I've connected the loc, or low level converter wrong. Everything works find but my bass is really trashy sounding, and I have no midbass playing from the sub, and it's a bit distorted! Is there anyone in melb that has done the install correctly? Or if there is anyone with info on how to go about connecting tr converter correctly? If this helps, I've got the ML package! Please someone help me lol !!

so thats def my problem? how should i go about changing this? when i disconnected my stock sub there were only 2 wires connected to it (green and brown) and ive connected the wires from the LOC, the 2 + to the green, and the 2 - to the brown. is that where ive gone wrong?how else have people connected their LOC?
-
yep! ive connected it to my cig lighter, wasnt as hard as i thought, what an easy car to take apart haha! thanks guys! Also, just a question to anyone who HAS installed an aftermarket sub + amp, how did you connect the high/low converter (or the LOC) which speaker/s did you connect it to? and hows the aftermarket sub sound? The reason im asking is because im really unhappy with the way mine is, ive connected the LOC (both + and - from the converter to the stock ML sub) and some songs the sub barely works, and other songs sound weird where there will be hardly any bass, to head throbbing bass! what have i done wrong? how can i fix this??

Yeah I thought it was interesting also, it also works out a lot cheaper this way, but not sure On how it'll sound compared to aftermarket p and sub setup, which was my original idea. Did you do yours yourself? Was it easy to get to the wires of the stock sub? Any tips on removing the rear parcel shelf?

hey guys, i know ive posted a lot about this ML sub but i want to get info on it before i do something im not supposed to and f**k something up! I have an 06 IS250 with ML package. well ive been reading that its possible to replace the stock free air sub, with an aftermarket free air sub? heres the link to it: http://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls430/511807-how-to-ls430-mark-levinson-everything-w-pics-and-part-s-7.html The only thing im unsure about, is that this was done in an LS, not an IS, would there be much difference between the 2 models? heres the link to the sub that they have replaced the stock one with, its a Kicker 10c88 http://www.crutchfield.com/S-TaUnditBkY2/p_20610C88/Kicker-10C88.html So basically, is this possible without screwing the stock amp?

haha so its worth doing then? because I have been trying to get my hands on an fsport air box for mine but cant find nothing, or its damn too expensive! tomorrow might be the day my car has a little grunt added to her haha :P ps urs is lookin pretty good, i just done the yellow fogs myself and loving it!
