So due to me having red p plates on my car it has come across some very nasty events in the year i have had it. cars opening their doors (quite hard may i add) into the car, key scratches down a whole side, front and back bumper having paint taken off them by some idiot who cant park or when they were coming out turned to early and made contact, and more but just stupid stuff really. Iv'e just been thinking, has anybody had any experience with repainting their car (original colour) and how much it cost them. If in Melbourne where they got it done and how well the job was done would be appreciated. Im not thinking of getting it repainted just yet seeing as it will just happen again but when it comes to the day i pass this beautiful car onto someone else, i want it to be in good condition so will look into getting it repainted. any help would be greatly appreciated

sorry for bringing up this old thread again but i was wondering if anyone knew of a way to improve the fuel consumption because my is200 is killing me at the moment

as bought back in may from a private seller. at the moment has some paint damage on the front bumper and a chip on the bonnet that appeared from nowhere one day. still trying to repair it all myself because i already forked out all my cash for the car haha

mine was 13k for an 05' model with 97,000kms

ok i would love some help from anybody who knows anything because im utterly stupid with these things. the man i bought my is200 from informed me he only had the rear speakers wired up with the aftermarket headunit. ive wanted to change this so i pulled it apart to find he has run different wires from the rear speakers into the unit and did not use the wires available. i had no problem with this but i could no longer find the front speaker wires. ive been looking around and found they were meant to be pink and purple i believe. yet these are nowhere to be found. any ideas on what other colour it may be or if he has just completely taken the wires out like an idiot. thank you
