  1. actually i dont know how to attach pics in PM, just gonna post it here...LOLS
  2. Lexus of chatswood charged 53.66 per plug, all together was 321.96 which is pretty good
  3. its not locked, it just wont open no matter how hard i press the button..:S i think something stucked inside
  4. recently my glove box button is malfunctioning for some reason and I can't open the glove box, anyone has any idea on how to fix it
  5. It looks amazing! i really want to upgrade my headlight as well, but it look like a lot of work and i know nothing about car lights..LOLS :(
  6. Well, just had my 90k service at Lexus of Chatswood, the price is very fair, brake fluid was like 2@$15.92 each, but the whole service did end up being around $1400 after everything so i dont really know if thats good enough for you.....but the service quality is the best!!! you get ur car cleaned, and get a new lexus for the time being, and the next day they ring u to ask is there any issues after the service..Superb service!
  7. Shell V power 98 is rubbish, i dont feel any difference when i refuel with it, and even sometimes the car feel sluggish and it goes very fast! Definitely avoid Shell patrol station. I have been using Caltex Vortex 98, it's pretty good, no issues with it and sometimes right after the refuel, the engine feel much sharper, and i get this sharp feeling with BP ultimate 98 as well. No point fuelling with 95 cos theres like 3 cents difference.
  8. i got that tyre as well, but not as cheap, where u buy it from? The noise is much higher than the OEM tyre but it grips so well in wet!
  9. It only costed about 195 dollars to have that service done which is great haha!
  10. Yeah it did burn more fuel, i had half a tank of fuel and by the end of the day there was only one bar left LOL somehow my loan car revs very high for some reason, even if i gentlely press the pedal to accelerate and it would rev to 3000 even 3500 rpm, maybe thats the reason of teh fuel consumption
  11. So today i drop my car at Lexus of Chatswood to do the 90000km service, they give me the is350 for the day. I was very very impressed with the power of this car, its incredible! i gotta admit its much more fun driving the 350 than the 250 cos of the power difference! p.s the dealer asked me if i wanted to decarbonate the engine, is that a good thing to do? i mean it does require taking engine apart and reinstall it.
  12. So tonight i was travelling through O'Connell st (the intersection of Argyle st) in parramatta, where i stopped at a red light, however when i stopped i noticed the red light camera just flashed me, and i was not speeding nor was i running a red light, and theres no other car around. Can this even be possible? has anyone experienced similar situation before? who do i compliant to if i do get a fine?
  13. Yeah i remember that as well, it was around 2000 to fit the genuine Lexus pads and rotors which is kinda ridiculous considering how dusty it is..and the genuine pads are really hard on the rotor as well!
  14. haha i think its just matter of luck..i mean you cant always garage your car forever...but i would def park more carefully next time..looking for big space where easy manoeuvres could be made for others
  15. but thank god it was on the bumper, if it was on the metal part, the whole repair process could've been more tricky
  16. Nah thats alright man..i will claim insurance again LOL dont know why, my lexus is having a rough couple of days..
  17. Today i parked my car at Daisy St in Chatswood (Very narrow st, with two way traffic)and some idiot backed into my car and run off (didnt even leave a note)..SO a heads up to everyone, try not to park in small streets. The chance of accidents are quite high..! and my POOR LEXUS the victim :(
  18. maybe i should try valvoline next time, what kinda oil does Lexus service use? does anyone know?
  19. HAHA true that but the scary thing is that the engine oil level was that low and the car did not warn me until it was like well below the first dot..now i think i must check in on the oil level once in a while..and i think this engine consumes alright..in my dad's car the engine would consume all of the oil by the end of 5000km, crazy consumption but they say its normal for turbo charged cars
  20. Did you notice any difference when you put the Valvoline oil? i did put 1L of Castrol Edge Titianium 5W-30 in it..and after i put it i feel my engine has gotten louder? it could be just my perception, not really sure. But honestly i dont think any engine oil would last for 15000km thats a bit too long i think, so still it is better to check engine oil regularly haha I know that now. I read the owner's manual it says it is best to use 5w-30 viscosity cos its got something to do with efficiency and cold start ability
