Hi all,

Bought a one owner 2007 is250 about six months ago . Its solid and tight and runs like new. Only beef i have is the gps. Ive tried using it about four times but it wants to send me in the opposite direction i want to go. I know most systems dont know short cuts a driver might use but i tried it yesterday with an address 300 metres away and only one way to get there and it said go another way. Its a factory system and its running version14 . Thanks for any input

I have a 2007 is250 running whereis version 14. A friend who has a 2011 kluged running whereas version18 has kindly offered the disc to me to compare with my version. Question is if i try version 18 in my is250 can i revert back to version 14 without any problems after i give back version 18. Many thanks, bob

In response to getting smart keys from sewells in the states, they have told me the smart keys for U.S is250 are on a different frequency to australia. Their around 440mhz ours are 315mhz. In other words they wont work. Im still waiting for the salesman i bought my is250 off to get back to me. Been over a week and still heard nothing. Guess hes sold the car doesnt want to know me now

recently bought a 2007 is250 from dealer and it came with one remote. At the moment their attempting to track down the second set, or so they say. If that fails seems my alternatives are a replacement from the dealer or a used one from the U.S. Ive read some threads here about Hitech auto electical how they can programme the codes but have spoken to their receptionists three times in three days and each time they said they will call back but dont so im fed up with them. So questios are 1. Is there anyone else that can be recommended and 2. Im getting conflicting answers regarding reprogramming a remote that already has a code. Can a used remote be re programmed or do i need to buy a new remote.
