I'm also in Brisbane.
Just had my ISS Forged exhaust fitted yesterday by Val at Indooroopilly. Sounds awesome
-
Id be bringing back a Novel exhaust, but i believe the price is outrageous.
-
I have just changed my steering wheel to a flat bottom so have original for sale. In immaculate condition and only done 15,000km. This is the updated thicker version off my MY11 ISF so is thicker than 08/09 versions and has blue leather and F symbol on bottom. Buyer will need to swap original airbag and switches as this is steering wheel only.
$250 shipped anywhere in Australia.

Price reduced. $350 shipped for axle back Borla. Suitable for ISF only.
-
Would love to get the full novel set up

I have considering headers, my car is my daily diver so ill see how the new exhaust is first.
Might have to look at those lower control arms, not sure if my tyres will fit under guards if I straighten up the wheels once control arms are on
-
Thanks Mike. My new exhaust is arriving shortly so looking forward to putting that on. I may have to also raise the car a little on the rear, its not scraping at all it just has serious negative camber and considering the 285 25 rear tyres cost a packet I'm worried ill wear them out in no time. What did you do with yours, do you have the figs engineering adjustable lower control arms to allow for camber adjustment?

wooot HELLLO!! lol
how did you do your chrome trim black out?
After a lot of research I found a special window trim blackout tape from the USA.
-
Wow you must be one of, if not the first to do an ISF race car. That's quite a collection of ISF's you have
-
As some of you would have seen on Club Lexus I have done quite a few mods in the last 2 months, thought I would post here as well.
- Paint protection film on all forward facing panels
- LED Interior lights and reverse lights
- stealth chrome indicator bulbs front and rear
- KW V3 coilovers
- Blacked out window trim
- JoeZ intake and AFE dry filter
- flat bottom steering wheel (all leather with blue stitching)
- Concavo wheels 20x9 front with 245/30 and 20x10.5 rear with 285 25 Goodyear Eagle tyres
- Phillips Chrystal vision fog light bulbs
- Borla axle back exhaust
ISS Forged DES exhaust on its way
Had these shots done on the weekend.
-
As far as I know it's available in the US I just think its a rare option

Hey Blacky my car is about 18 months old and I've had it for about 2 months or so. My trim is perfect but I clean and condition the leather every week. Every time I get out of the car I put the seat back so I don't scrape the bolsters when I get back in. If you can get a warranty claim I would go ahead but I would of thought they would class this as general wear.

wooohooo
sounds good
im actually flying up the QLD today to pick up my new F
What colour did you get?
-
Glad to hear its all fixed for you
-
I agree white leather is hard to maintain but I clean and condition my whole interior weekly and its better than new.
-
I was looking at getting this car a couple of months ago but I really wanted white trim.
-
Thanks again Mike. Still debating on which intake to get, wether it be the injen, takeda or JoeZ silicone pipe. Ill keep you updated
-
My car has a Borla axle back system at moment. I've had plenty of loud exhaust on previous cars so not much would surprise me.
I thought if you just installed silicone intake pipe the secondary intake is still audible over 3600 rpm? Isn't it only when you install full intake system like injen, K&N or Takeda that this doesn't work?
-
Thanks for the heads up.
Brisman is taking me for a drive tomorrow, I believe he's had the JoeZ on for quite some time. Now your getting me concerned it won't be loud enough!
I think headers combined with the JoeZ will be very loud but would sound awesome
-
Mike
Brisbane Lexus dealer here quoted me $5500 fitted which includes JoeZ exhaust, intake and filter plus intake manifold port and polish, not sure how much extra power is achieved from intake mod.
KW have been ordered through Australian distributor and are being fitted by one of their agents, not to concerned about handling more so ride quality and lowered stance. Had them on my RS5 and set them on 2 or 3 for comfort and really liked them.
The wheels I wanted (Vossen) are on back order so may look at alternatives or just wait. I just like the look of larger wheels than factory, I do it to all my cars.. I'm going for 20x9 front with 245/30 and 20x10.5 rear with 285/25. I don't drive my cars hard or take them to the track I just enjoy modifying them a little.
Ill let you know what I think of the JoeZ tomorrow
-
Thanks for the reply Mike. I am enjoying the car still learning about what can be done to them. I have KW V3 coilovers on order, just had the rear guards rolled to fit the 20" wheels I am ordering. Blacked out the window trim and just put on clear carbra paint protection film. I can tolerate a little droning just not to much.
I'm catching up with one of the forum members tomorrow who has the JoeZ system. It seems a popular choice along with the ISS system.
Did you purchase yours locally or from the US?
-
What are USD rear tails that you mentioned?
-
Sorry, I misread your post when you said you put in 2012 LED lights, thought you meant tail lights but now realise you must mean headlights
-
I didn't know they changed the tai lights on later models. Do they look the same just LED? When did this come into effect?

Sounds good. I would be keen for a catch up if we could organize something that suits us all. Just removed my Borla axle back and replaced it with full ISS system.
