Hi Tissa - welcome to the club.

I don't have an answer for you, but I do have a question. Why do you need to change to a diesel engine? Are you in a location where you can't get petrol?

Petrol is very expensive and Diesel is 30% cheaper, and also you get a better mileage from Diesel.

We do this to mercedes benz all the time.

If you don't mind saying, where are you located? Here in Perth diesel is always 20 or 30 c/litre more than petrol.

I'd say it'd be an easier transplant in a Mercedes because most (if not all) of their model variants come with a dedicated diesel powered version.

You must be doing a fair bit of driving in order to recoup the cost of such a conversion, wouldn't you?

I guess anything is possible and can be done - but if it were me, I'd just buy a car that's diesel in the first place.
