linhtron
Hi Guys, I have a 2008 is250 and at idle (especially in traffic) I find that the radiator/engine fan comes on for about 10 seconds (and is quite loud) and then turns off. I have found this particularly when parking the car (at low speeds). Is this normal? If not, would I have to get anything looked at? =/ Any help would be appreciated! :)
neostars
my car does it too, dunno if it normal.
Zaero
I think it is normal, mine is the same. The fans are pretty noisy, and sometimes the bearings give up. You'll know when the bearing is gone because the noise is unbearable.
Bowen Yong
its normal, cos the IS has high compression ratio of 12:1 which means it heats up quite easily due to high pressure direct injection, this cos engine to heat up quite easily

Subby
Had the same problem, read somewhere else in this forum about using WD40 to spray the belts - did liberal and indiscriminate spraying on the weekend and the car is whisper quiet once again !!!
