Are Their Problems With Tt And P Platers In Vic

Ive been dieing to get a TT soarer for ages now, ive taken a few for a test drive and are seriously thinking about importing one.

In victoria vic roads states the car needs to be under 125kw per ton to be legal for a P plater, the TT soarer is 1600kg is it?

(can someone please tell me the weight of the car on the plates)

If its 1600 kg then, 1.6 * 125kw = 200kw so not legal

But if the soarer weights 1650 then 1.65 * 125kw = 206.25kw so then its legal.

Thats going on the power figure of 206kw which I think is right.

Regardless of these facts, does anyone know of a P plater soarer TT driver in Vic, I would like to know of any stories of police troubles if they have any as I really want to get this car.

HEY MATE, I GOT A TT SOARER AND IM ON MY P'S IN VIC, I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY TROUBLES WITH REGISTERING OR POLICE, MOST OF THEM DONT CARE, LIKE ALL THEY HAVE SAID TO ME IS NICE CAR AND HOW MUCH U PAY FOR IT, SO YEAH GET ONE ITS THE BEST CAR. :D :D
