I got a notice that my passenger airbag is in recall and to organise a time and day.

Does LExus still provide you a new car to drive for the day while they take away your car or is that for cars still under warranty?

I'm booked in to have the recall done next week at Chatswood, they did offer a loan car but I didn't need one. Generally I've found you'll need to wait a bit for a booking if you need a loan car. Mine is still under factory warranty.

Mines booked in, no warranty and a loan car wasnt an issue.  Had to take it to Lexus about 6 months ago for another recall (cooling fan or something like that).  Again they provided a new loan car (some hybrid thing) but generally you may have to wait a bit longer to get a loaner
