Hi all, I have just bought a 1992 Ls400 to fix up. It's unreg at the moment, doesn't need a lot. My question is, it has an engine miss at present at idle and through the range when driving it. Anything, apart from plugs, leads, coils, dizzy caps or rotors that could cause the miss? Haven't really looked at it yet, am going to start this weekend over Easter. Thanks in advance for your comments.

Fuel injector, start the car in a dark place and see if you can see any sparks around the plug and leads its a good starting point let us know what you find cheers. Get a infrared heat gun cheap as chips of eBay point it at each exhaust manifold and the coldest one is your problem.

You didn't say what Km's or much info on the history but you might want to change the fuel filter too it's a cheap part so not a bad place to start.
