Changing rear 12V battery on GS450H 08 model.

Hi All. I just had my rear battery on my 08 GS450H replaced as it had discharged a couple of times and when I took it to my battery guy it was only holding 3.8 volts.

The battery he supplied was $187 AUD and I trust him implicitly, he actually does supply batteries to Lexus dealerships here in Melbourne Australia. The new battery however didn't have a connection on it to connect the heat sensor, does anyone know whether this is an issue? Also, even though the car starts (I haven't driven it yet) I get the "check hybrid system message". Is this because I've connected a new battery, is it just a case of getting the error msg cleared and then I'll be fine???

By the way, before I purchased the Lexus I checked whether the Hybrid Batteries had ever been replaced and yes they had, so I think they are only currently 5 years old so I don't actually think there is an issue with the Hybrid system as all.

Any advice would be so greatly appreciated. Keep safe and healthy everyone and look forward to hearing from someone who can answer my questions.
