I have an LX470 - 1998 now at 396,000k over the 22 years I have owned it and it has been the best car I've ever had - BUT - I have just started to get an issue with the battery going flat - I've tested the battery and its fine - The issue is a parasitic draw from somewhere in the system. I get a draw with everything closed down at 90milli-Amps. I think this is too high - does anyone know the correct factory draw? In searching to find the problem I have found that if I remove the 40Amp Power fuse in the passenger kick panel fuse box then the draw drops to 20mAmps which I think is about allowable for this model. I have tested all circuits on this fuse - the electric seats, sun roof, elec locking and steering column adjustment but none of them seem to make any change to the 90mAmp draw to get back to the 20mAmps.

Does anybody have any suggestions of what I'm doing wrong or where the issue might be?

Thanks for the comment. The battery is only about a year old and I had an auto elect do a full test on it - it charges up to 13.5V on a full charge but runs down enough to not have sufficient power to start the car after 2 -3 days without use.

Do you know what the LX470 standard draw is when everything is shut down?

13.5 seems low usually over 14v when i charge my cars

do you have any non standard parts fitted to your car?
