In the manual it states that there is a third piece to the key that you get with the IS250.

The fob has the detachable key and there is a little plate like piece.

Does anyone have this plate like piece (which i assume is used to manually open the door)?

the fob has a mechanical key which you can separate from the FOB

i called the dealer to ask about the key number plate, he said they dont pass it out cos they keep it for their records on their system, so when you need to replace or make a new FOB, they can have access to it

they said normal user dont have use for it and if it gets lost, they cant make u a new FOB

So that's why we only get the remotes.
