i dont think there is a real CAI kit for sale for the is250, only short ram so basically the pod sits in the engine bay, the best you can do is get some sort of heat shield made i have a fujita short ram for sale in the for sale forum, check it out and its very easy to install

i have a used fujita short ram pod air filter for sale very easy to install, no noise below 3000rpm, once over 3000rpm, a nice air induction noise the metal tubing of the kit has a slight dent (due to previous owner installing this kit along with a strut bar) the dent does not affect the performance of the pod at all pickup only from bankstown, 2200 email me on davidle1987 @ gmail . com or call me on 0422 302 200 if you are interested PRICE: $150 cheers

i recently put in a 6000k kit from arco import (http://www.hidlighting.com.au/) got the kit for $200 incl postage installation was fairly simple, i was installing an air intake at the same time so there was plenty of room on the driver side, the passenger side was a tight squeeze removing the plastic tubing for the windscreen water reservoir allowed for a bit more room overall, the 6000k has a very slight tinge of blue, but i like it, if i ever have to change globe, will probably try 5000k so i dont get any blue

yep i just got my GPS unit and while driving last nite on the freeway, i set cruise control to 70km/hr and the GPS unit showed i was doing 66km im going on a road trip soon with the car so i can test it out at 100km/hr and 110km/hr

my car is prestige model with moonroof and is march 2007 production no ENH pack installed moonroof rattle was there from day one and now the front dash rattle is starting to happen car done 4200km

is 5w-40 a good or bad oil?

my car was purchased in march 2007 rattles are starting to creep in now moonroof - when it is open and you go over bumps, you can hear it slightly if you listen for it front dash - just started hearing this last night when going over bumps, it sounds like when plastic expand and you hear that cracking noise, its on and off, not always present

yea i love driving in a clean shiny car!!! we just got a carport built so at least its not as bad as before when we left it in the mist overnight to get crap all over it in the morning

ldc, not all machine will create swirl mark it depends on the cloth and material of the pads you use

we have a 2007 prestige is250 the only rattle i've experienced is the moonroof (about 2-3 times), havent heard it for a few months now so im pretty pleased with the car plus it is the best value for dollar i reckon BMW is renown for its build quality and drive control, but for ~$65k AUD, you wont get anything near the performance of the i250
