Hey Maehara, yeah they did a fine job, I could not tell the difference. I am sure they can do the same for you too :) Just give them a buzz and ask them who they send their rims to and you could organise it yourself otherwise just get them to do it when you take your car in for service. :)

I was told the scuff plates are around $832.00 in Sydney. You could always check with Melb City Lexus www.citylexus.com.au, contact their parts area they should be able to give you pricing for Australia + Delivery to Sydney. However the US price seems wayy cheaper. Do you know if there are wires already in the car for the scuff plates? I know the stock ones in the 250X don't light up. I am going to get a Prestige so would be keen to know if I can install it myself, I know nothing about wiring but if there is a wire in the door and I all I need is to plug it in then I am happy to do that :) Let me know.

To my knowledge only the 2005 and 2006 is not wired but from 2007 the prestige has the plug and is wired from factory and that is expensive compared to sewell price and i air freighted to brisbane at halve the cost.

As the X uses the prestige model but includes the aluminium plate, I'm assuming the 07 - 08 model all has the plug ready for the sill plate. I've always wanted to go down to the dealer to see the plate on the luxury model as well, to see if it fits the look of the car overall.

As for the rim repairs, it takes a week and to drive on a weight saver wheel, isn't that sad?

My dealer told me that the blue plates are the old ones. The white scuff plates are on 2008+ models. A little bit of cosmetic year model differentiation

Shouldn't they be white instead of blue? I mean, I saw Sewell sells both and that's confusing.
