hey there am from the uk, just thought i would show you what i have done with my audio install.

I have an 51reg IS200 an i decided to upgrade the stock system to the following

headunit: alpine cda9887R

Front end: hertz mille2

sub:hertz mille 2500

Processor:audison bit one(tuning in progress)

amp:hertz hp4

rear fill: NONE, 6x9's removed to lett bass in to car

cable: chord carnival silverscreen

dynamat extreme

rca: audison sonus

stock amp removed and harness adapter fitted

Made copies of my a pillars from fibreglass resin and material incase i mess up

Once tweeter angle was achieved, the baffle was mounted and smoothed with bondo.

Doors were fully dynamatted and baffles made out of 2 pieces of 12mm mdf bonded and coated together with resin to produce a solid waterproof baffle,which were bolted to the door skins.

The holes either side of the sub is were i removed the supports to route the cables and rca's, they were replaced later.

i used the cover off the back seats(below) as a template that would fit between the wheel arches to mount amps and crossovers.

Jeez thats a long time well looking at the photos it seem to be worth it :)

Do you have any photos of the complete job?

Also i was thinking of replacing the stock head unit with something that has bluetooth/iphone connectivty where did you get the frame around so you could use a single din head unit?

I have no complete photo's as yet, am still tuning and changing things. :wacko:

I know they have them on ebay, or ask your local car audio dealer to locate you one. Many of the companies who supply the facia dont sell directly to the public so i ordered one from my local car audio store. If your changing your stock headunit you need a harness adaptor because the factory wiring doesnt fit aftermarket stereo's :(
