Upgrade To 18" Rims?

im full noob with wheels, but it seems so complicated on picking which rims to go with

like offsets (i dont even know wat that is, :S)

and wat size u want (does 19x8.5 mean that the rim size is 19" and the width is 8.5"??)

and wat tyres to put on (is there a specific size tyre u have to put on a 19x8.5 rim??)

Ive finally managed to purchase a set of 2nd hand Sports rims for my car.

They dont come with the nuts. A question I had was:

Will the nuts I currently have on my 16" Prestige rims fit the 18" Sports rims?
