emikelee
Hi All, Has anyone upgraded their IS250 with the LED Daytime Riding Lights similar to the Audi's? I'm thinking of upgrading and was wanting to get some input into other's who have already done it. What is the best brand LED Daytime Riding Lights (DRL) to buy? Hella? Also if you have any pics of your LED mod's please feel free to post these up as we'd love to all have a look Cheers, Mike

emikelee
Thanks Lex51S! Did you end up installing the LED lights on your car in the end?? I'm currently looking for more OEM style LED components which can just be a direct replacement from factory parts rather then a complete modification. That site from Japan on another thread looked great with the custom LED parts for the IS especially the LED lights on the side mirrors and also the LED Fog light inserts...it's a shame however that they do not export to Australia. Wondering if anyone else has seen any other great LED products on the web to upgrade the IS250 which are available for us to buy here in Australia? I did see a foglight replacement from JDM in Japan but the price was just rediculous at $1900 USD. Chime in if you know of any other great products which are just a direct replacement of OEM components which don't cost a complete fortune! Thanks guys Cheers, Mike Hi All, Has anyone upgraded their IS250 with the LED Daytime Riding Lights similar to the Audi's? Peter
Audi LED daytime lights are integrated into the car from the factory. A) It dims when the indicator lights are on, therefore making the indicator lights more apparent. B ) The LED lights can only be ordered with xenon lights therefore they complement each other. C) It dims when the parking lights are on therefore making the park light stand out more D) It can be switched off from the Audi MMI computer system, therefore making it harder to turn off which is a good thing. E) It lights up as an entry light and can be programmed to stay on longer or shorter from the Audi MMI computer system. F) It is high quality stuff that last thousands of hours. G) The Audi headlamp with the LED is a piece of art. h) It is a $2700 option on the cheaper A4 and standard on the upmarket A4. The point is why would you put cheap LED to ruin your beautiful IS250 and try to be a bad Audi copycat. You are better off with Xenon lights.
