SGR they quoted 70 per corner. There area few guys on CL who has the same wheels. 275 vs 265 will camber be too much of a prob given i'm only lowered 1".
-
I have not tried putting them on but people who have the same wheels all say i needed the spacers.
As for guard rolling, Sydney Guard Rolling is ok?
Are u sure 225/255 will fit 9/10 inches?
-
Dan, they are 19 x 9, offset +47, 19 x 10, offset +30.
I guess the stock is +45 so i need 2mm to clear the fronts. I'm not sure if i need the rear fender to be rolled.
Tyres i think will be 235/35 and 275/30.

Hi guys,
Being very long time .... and most of you don't know me. Anyways I scored a set of Rays 19" and i need 5mm only to clear the FRONT brakes.
I know spacers are never safe to use blah blah blah..but i'd like to use the Rays for a little while.
The 5mm is not hub-centric and it is thin enough to sit on your existing hub with a little left for the wheels to sit on. I was told this is ok to use and extended studs not needed.
Should i get the 5mm or get the 10mm bolt-on type? Also what and where to get them fitted?
Thanks,
- Justin

If you want to fill the gap more get 45 and 40.
-
225/45/18 and 255/40/18 would be better match imo. Speedo won't be out at all.
-
Preferably still road worthy, i'm happy to take them off you.
Thanks.
-
So you got them for free in other words?
-
How much did you paid for your set?
-
225/45 and 245/45 were stock tyres for the wheels. I think 40 looks too thin. 45 help fill the guards.
I heard aluminium rings sticks to the hub, ebay sells 66.1 polycarbonate ones for cheap.
-
Should be 245/45 on the rear. Will fill the fenders more. Did you get hub rings to hepl fit it on?
-
Here's a set up of my wheels with the ISF ones on and some edited photos too :P
They're 19" ISF ones staggered fit 19x8 and 19x9.5, 255 on the back and 235 on the front, the front guards at stock height scrub against the inner wall but not against guard, but I love them :) Always wanting to drop it but worried about the whole scrub issue. The guy's at Tyrepower Hawthorn hooked me up with a good deal in Victoria so if anyone else is interested hit them up :)
wow those replicas have better offset than stock
The rears of these two pics eventhough the top pic aren't clear does not look like same offset.
The bottom pic looks agressive +20 offset-ish. I didn't think these F reps were anything lower than +35.
-
If 255/40 fit with plenty of daylight inbetween, why wouldn't 245/45 what am i thinking?
-
I got myself a spare set secondhand set of 18x8 with offset +30 and 225/45 F 245/45 R.
Putting it against the car (which is lowered by an 1 inch) it looks like i might have issues fitting but I think it should be okay. What do you guys think?

i take mine to my mechanic every 7000ish kms for just oil and filter change
i run elf turbolite and Lexus dealer uses castrol
Are you serious or is there something i don't know here.
Home job every 5000km.
-
I had mine like that one bulb sticking our more than another, took it back to the dealers and they replaced it. This was a while ago. Things were never the same again.
You should that if they do replace it it might be a new one and it will differ to your other one. There are also a clear lense and a milky type.

Have not try the polish as i don't have any. As for the Bosch aerotwins. fitment-wise no good as the tip does not meet the glass well (glass is too curvy for it).
-
Got it installed and it pretty smooth and quiet in between wipes. As it start from bottom and end at the top this is when you can hear the 'thud'. I know this is unavoidable but yeh anyone wipers fully silent?
-
Hmm i think i'm sold on the Bosch unit.
-
You mean refill rubber? Is it silent?
-
Heard the dealers sells the refills only, for the cost of the Bosch aerotwin kit
Anyone use the Bosch before?
-
Not sure what the heck it could be hoping to get an answer here. My wipers are so loud that i am getting a headach when driving in the rain. I have changed the rubber, but it's still loud. The more water on the screen the louder it is. Without water (i.e dry) the sound is ok but stil not silent.
I'm thinking of getting a new set of wipers, should i get the Bosch (which one) or maybe just get oem refills from the dealers?

I see audi-like look. not liking the rear tail-lights. Interior is sporty but has lost abit of class somewhat.
-
anyone got connections with genuine spares to get the glass cheaper?? That is fitted so im not sure how much just the glass would be!!!
You mentioned antenna so i'd assume it's the rear. Ring ReflectEffect (vendor on this forum) if he's still got the rear (with some broken demisters).

So back in 2008 a very trusted member installed Tanabe for me. 127K kms after i'm still on them 🙂 But there are signs of leakage so i have bought KYB shocks to replace.
Does anyone know what shock boots to used with KYBs cos the oem ones are breaking up?
