I just applied clear bra on mine yesterday, you can't tell the difference on the bumper, headlights and the mirrors, but the lines of the cuttings are very visible on the bonnet. The workmanship was good, took 5 hours and when I took it, it started to rain.

So you plan to purchase the rims from Melbourne are you? If its possible, I'll get a X rim with you, I can't bring it for repair and then the next month it happens again, so I'll do rotation whenever that happens with an extra rim.

As the X uses the prestige model but includes the aluminium plate, I'm assuming the 07 - 08 model all has the plug ready for the sill plate. I've always wanted to go down to the dealer to see the plate on the luxury model as well, to see if it fits the look of the car overall. As for the rim repairs, it takes a week and to drive on a weight saver wheel, isn't that sad?

Seriously?! Are the sill plates heavy? I was planning to go down to Sydney City Lexus to ask if they sell the parts! Do you think they charge per item delivery or is it wiser to buy more others at the same time and save on delivery?

Hey Maehara,Sorry to hear about the rim damage :( however you can get it fixed!, when this happend on my old car, I told the guys when I took it for service at lexus, they pulled the rim out and I used the spare for a week. They got it fixed for me and cost around 340. I have heard there are people that can come to your home and fix too, but I am not sure how good they are. Thanks Naz, did they Lexus do a good job? Yours should be plug and play the sill plates just pull straight up and there should be a white plug in the wire harness ready to take the new illum,one just plug straight in and presto. did mine in about 5mins. bought mine from sewell lexus. As for the hids thats a different kettle of fish. chappy, I tried to buy it from Sewell and the delivery charge is 190US, is that normal?

Ok, something happened today, my mother took the lexus out and put damages on the driver side rim by driving it close to a kerb, does anyone know it can be fixed?

Looks tempting but I have not seen anyone having it on their's and from all the pictures I've seen so far, I think it makes the Lexus looks like Aurion from the top back.

Thing is, does anyone know where or how to install them? I was looking around for workshops today to install XenonDepot HID but noone does it. Looking for cheaper labor but instead I can't even find one who can do this job for I!

Shouldn't they be white instead of blue? I mean, I saw Sewell sells both and that's confusing.

Do you know what's the color of the scuff plate and does it illuminate gradually or does it just lights up when the door is open.

Its the bonnet which is taking the damage. With all the 60 speed limit and school zones around, I've been driving less than 70km/h the whole time and still gets it. I'm looking at ozicozi too, they quoted me 550AU for the car a month ago but I never have the time to do it. I have never heard of infinityauto and isn't clear bras better? What's tyres with curb protection? On the other note, Sewell has this OEM IS-F wheels that looks really good, for 7000USD, will anyone get it?

After two week of driving it, I came back with a scuff on a rim, lots of stones scratches on the hood, pinetree saps on the hood so I stopped driving it till I get clear bra on. Meantime I have no time to do it so I drive my other car to work.

I wouldn't mind taking pictures of the car but I have no time for that until the weekends! Can you wait or unless you really want to see it, I live in the city so you can easily see it.

I have a black X, however I have never taken any pictures of it ever since I got it.
