  1. i'll be tallying up numbers 2 weeks prior to the wedding. thanks for your interest.
  2. 7 days after i got my is350 f sport, i changed the f sport air intake + f sport muffler right away! sounds killing. warranty ? ehmmm depends on dealer, if they cocky, they can say void warranty. but for me, I dont care. i got my mods from lexus north of miami. it is still lexus parts. i assume they are legal and legit product of lexus. cheers shouldn't be a problem as lexus dealers supply those parts too.
  3. can't say if this applies to all dealers but i had strut bars, intake, extracters, exhaust, spacers, and various other bits and pieces and they were fine with it. i even did the nav hack when i first bought the car and the screen stopped responding 4 yrs later and they still fixed no questions asked. they could have easily denied the claim but they didn't. again, it's not gospel but thats my experience with lexus.
  4. you can tap into the input of the screen but youll need some sort of a switch in place so you can toggle between dvd player in car and your media player.
  5. Thanks mate. Anyone who knows about the HID? if the is250 would need special/specific version of the HID or would the normal ones you get off ebay work too? resistors on the LED parkers and LED puddle lights if i want to change them? any h11 kit is fine. no errors on dash like euro cars. same with puddle lights and parkers. you can led the whole car without a problem. japanese cars are not a pain to mod like euro cars.
  6. second what ilvs said above. i looked into it a while ago and nothing was available 6 months ago so unless things have changed since i'm not sure. to my knowledge the most hp gained is from a set of extractors, other than that it's just the usual supercharger or 350/F routes.
  7. Thanks to all who have expressed interest in helping. It should be a great day and will look absolutely awesome with all those 250's and one F! thats you ilvs1004s lol...... Date as mentioned is October 22nd but i will need a firm commitment as i also need to allocate those who are coming a seat at the reception for dinner as my thanks for assisting. Reception is in Pyrmont and ceremony should be somewhere close by.
  8. Date is the 22nd. Free feed and alcohol for all that help out in the morning. :-)
  9. Hi Guys, Im getting married in October on the 22nd and was wanting to gather up a few cars for the ceremony in the morning. Anyone interested in helping out. Plenty of food and alcohol afterwards later at night at the reception. :-)
  10. brought a set just looking for someone to install for me most places won't install these due to the complex nature of the install. hardest step is baking the headlights to separate them. if you mess up this step the headlight may suffer some damage and the headlights are not cheap so for a shop to make 100-200 and risk damaging 1300 headlights is simply not worth it. i had this problem when i was trying to get mine installed. i ended up doing it myself.
  11. lol....... got a few merc vans for work and yes, they are not reliable! haven't moved to any dark side, just had to sell car to allow for wedding budget! i'll be back sometime next year in either a 350, ISF or a CT300H (thats not a typo!)
  12. whats with the panda on the bonnet? oh and sorry i couldn't make it guys, it was my little boys 1st birthday.
  13. would love to come but unfortunately i won't be a lexus owner in about a weeks time. :-(
  14. if u're asking about acceleration i'd be inclined to recommend the IS350 for the minimal price difference! nothing you can do for 5k to a 250 that will get you anywhere near a 350. might be a bit more but at least you won't get buyers remorse later down the track.
  15. i had them on a while ago but for some reason mine kept dying (ballast). anyone else having that problem?
  16. lol..... im still dying to get this done but just can't find the time :-(
  17. the oil filter is $23.75! is the whole service worth it? probably not. you can always get it done significantly cheaper outside of lexus however for peace of mind i would just stick with lexus if budget allows. their service cost is no more than audi/bmw/mercedes and that price includes a loan car as well, something yuou don't get from the euro's unless you negotiated it at purchase time. car servicing, one of the many joys of car ownership :-)
  18. i'm still not feeling the front. i cant quite pick it but it just doesnt look right. thanks for the pics though, funny how you managed to find better pics and i'm the guy thats spending so much time looking for them :-)
