There doesn't seem to be in WA which is too bad, I always wanted to take my Lexus on a cruise being the nice cruiser that it is/was with the wheels and sound system.

The car is still for sale. $8,000 w/stock rims $9,500 w/chromies. The car will come with the original sound system (still very good, I am quite happy with it for my daily driving you just can't pump up the bass and play it ridiculously loud). Booked in with North City Holden Panel and Paint (Scarborough Beach Rd Osborne Park) to fix RHR/rear damage. $100 finders fee open to you if you can put somebody in touch with me who wants it.

Thats cool man. I was referring to the 2JZ-GTE. I have just never seen a Lexus badged GS300 with the 2JZ-GTE, I have only seen them with the non-turbo 2JZ-GE. My question is/was are you able to buy a Lexus badged GS300 with a 2JZ-GTE engine or did only the Toyota badged Aristo's come with that engine (due to the American market). And if you can get an actual GS300 with the twin turbo engine would I be right in assuming they are very rare and probably more expensive then their Toyota counterparts? I think that made sense... haha!

Thats odd. I always go to Caltex because they always have 98 and 95 readily available.

I'm guessing that was a question? a) The car I was referring to was not a GS300 but an Aristo. B) No it wasn't found at Kamikaze Motors.

I will be getting a new car soon and have narrowed it down to two options, one being the Toyota Aristo. I have found one in pearl white with leather seats, sunroof and the twin turbo engine, seems pretty schmick. However I was wondering if the GS300 ever came with the twin turbo engine or because it was made for the American market did it only come with the non turbo 3 Litre 6? I really like the car but if I could find a "Lexus" for a similar price I think I would like that. Thanks for any help.

Well I spose if I'm going to post some pics of my ride somebody else might want to do the same so why not a thread? Well here she is my '93 ES300. (Hmmm... thats weird just noticed my antenna isn't down on the car, or at least wasn't when the pictures were taken.)

Dunno if you guys are still wondering about the whole cruise control thing but I may be able to help you. I work with City Toyota's pre-delivery department on a near daily basis and one of their jobs is to put cruise control on cars headed up to mine-sites. I will chat to one of the guys about putting it in a Lexus and getting back to you, I have seen the ones they use and they apparently work for most makes and models of cars.

*cough*Buy and Sell Forum*cough* Why have I been gone so long? Well as you can see this forum is just too exciting for me as of late... lol.

As you can probably tell by now I am selling my '93 Lex. The car is Dark Green, has a cream leather interior and has done 166,300kms. Whilst in my possesion I have tinted the windows (darkest legal), CD Tuner (Westside Car Audio), put in new front struts and engine thing (lol, complete mind blank ATM, helps hold engine in place) (WA Suspension) and had the starter motor serviced/fixed aswell as have it regularly serviced (West Racing, last serviced 162,000kms). As a result the car is in top shape and drives wonderfully. At the moment there is a rather large dent on the RHR quarter. Fear not some d***head hit it whilst it was PARKED in a car park so there is not much damage and it is already booked in with a panel shop to get fixed through insurance. It is currently sitting on Advanti Envy Chrome Wheels wrapped in 225/40R18 Kumho KU31's. They have been on for less then 4,000kms. I do however still have the original 15" Wheels wrapped in 205/65R15 Pirellis. The car can be sold either way depending on price. I also installed a rather nice sound system with Nertz splits in the front and rear, Pioneer mono-channel amp and 12" Alpine S-Type Sub. Again however I still have the original speakers and can sell the car either way depending on price. I shall post pics later, but hey you all know what an ES300 looks like!

Due to me upgrading my beloved ES300 my wheels have to go! I am selling my 18" Advanti Envy Chrome wheels wrapped in Kumho KU31 Tyres. The specs are as follows... WHEELS 18x7.5 5x114.3 45p TYRES 225/40R18 Kumho KU31's I purchased the wheels and tyres at aprox. 162,500km and my odometer currently reads 166,300km. So the wheels and tyres have done less then 4,000km. I clean the wheels almost religiously and there are no marks/scrapes/defects on them. They are perfect for a Lexus particularly the ES300 (my ride) but they will bolt onto alot of Lexus/Toyotas. Let me know if you are interested and don't hesitate to ask questions. I live in Perth, WA but I could be persuaded to organise some shipping. :)

Hey there welcome aboard (haven't been on here in a while). It seems there isn't much West Australian love for the ES300, but that just makes us all the more cooler doesn't it!?! :P And if your after wheels I am selling mine...[/cheap plug] Didn't realise they made ES300's without leather and a sunroof. No real poit to that just interesting.

And that is why you shouldn't post late at night, you suggest stupid things! I have no idea why I would think that would work in the first place. Aurion V6, decent suggestion, I shall look into it.

For a little while now I have been looking around for some places that sell some aftermarket stuff for my '93 ES300. I am yet to find anywhere that looks very promising though. Do you guys know of any places in WA or any good internet sites that maybe able to help me out. I have found one site http://www.lextasy.com/ have any of you guys had experience with these people? Are they any good? Cheers.

I'd love to know aswell, even though I don't have the ca$h at the moment I'd like a little more then my '93 is giving me. Having said that I asked my trusted mechanic about my performances options and he said to me "Oh, we can make your car go reallly fast, but it will cost alot of money!" Would the LS400's 4.0L V8 be a possible option? That would probably suit me nicely.

After upgrading my wheels to a set of 18's I am left with four of my stock alloy wheels from my '93 Lexus. They are 15" wheels with 205/65R15 Pirelli P6's (40% tread). I am in no real rush as I work at a tyre shop and have plenty of room to store them in but hey, why waste 'em? I shall post pics later however I doubt anyone will even be interested, haha!
