  1. Yeah Im from Hamilton but heaps of people from Hamilton come up to Auck's to get perfromance stuff as Hamilton in my opinion is inexperienced with modifying cars, for example no one sells the induction kits for altezza's/lexus's here in hamilton and I had to come to Auckland to get a Apexi boost controller fitted aswell on the evo. Dont come up to Auckland very much though as busy at Waikto Uni etc and getting drunk and going clubbin in Hamilton cheers
  2. i've also got the other antenna, but like that one better, however I think the other one has better reception!!!
  3. Are you saying its not a Lexus!!!!!! It actually came like that from Japan, the only difference between it and a lexus is basically the engine is 4 cylinder and it has no leather. Its registered as a Lexus IS200 aswell and paper work came through that way, so its almost half and half. :D About the steering wheel badge, it currently doesnt have one as the lexus one got stolen some where in transit to NZ, so the dealer said. Do you know where I can get another Lexus badge from. An old guy in Hamilton also has a altezza/lexus as his has full Lexus options including leather but was orderd from the factory in Japan with an altezza 4 cyclinder engine. cheers......... Hayden P.S Ive tryed brefily to get a Lexus steering wheel badge but neither Hamilton Toyota or even LExus NZ could come up with anything
  4. I personally dont deal with advanced imports and that would remind me why!!!!! ST HITEC are pretty on to it with japanese cars as I got some stuff done to my evo 4 there so now will go back there for stuff. 09 523 5333 Located in the EX Mercury Energy building complex, Gate 5 Nuffield Street in New Market
  5. ST HITEC in new market can get induction kits, I got a APEXI filter and full adapter kit from them for $350, and also advanced imports can get them but they have to order them in as they dont stock air filters for altezza's, but they can get hks!!
  6. From Hamilton "greeneyes". Although obviously its not as quick of the mark, I find the top end on the open road to be pretty quick compared to the evo, although probably just forgotten how fast it was. I'd agree its definately nicer to drive and a better car than the evo, just needs a turbo. You guys are from Auckland aren't you?? Are there many turbo altezza's up there in auckland, a guy i know has just finished building a yellow turbo altezza, so should be cruzing around soon, supposed to be getting number plate HELTZA or something like that (he lives in Auckland also)................
  7. Hi guys..... thought i'd introduce myself... From Hamilton NZ, got a Lexus IS200 with 4 cyclinder beams altezza motor and no trim so basically an altezza but got best of both worlds I guess. Since buying back in march this year there seems to be a lot coming into NZ at the moment so hopefully we can start to get some more members in the near future....... look forward to chatting with others in future... cheers Hayden
  8. Hi guys......... Just joined up here, really enjoying my altezza/lexus had it since march after trading in my evo 4 because of problems. Bloody awesome cars!!! Just thought i'd say hi.......... cheers Hayden
