  1. hey ssml.. not sure.. but check uk forums.. they have instruction sets on basically most diy things..
  2. i dont mind if they are shipped to me.. it will be minimal cost to ship to other states.. we can sort that cost out later.. but in the end it will cost less to buy as a group than for a single buy anyway... ssml is this ok with you?
  3. nope someone is sending me his and its on its way ;) when are you planning on getting stuff from there.. then i know when i have to make up my mind for other stuff.. let me know
  4. maybe.. but i dont wanna have for ages at this point
  5. there are plenty of info from past threads in nzloc and in the uk forums.. lots of info for you to make a confident decision. personally i use a remus exhaust.. however, have heard of the trust pe2 and apexi n1.. and in comarison, the trust pe2 sounds sweet. for me that mean it is not loud and over powering like apexi's. the trust pe2 can sit very low, so that is a consideration as well. if you have a stock exhaust. i know someone who has an apexi hayabusa on their lex that want to swap over (only because he is selling his).
  6. edwin, if i go with mrtrally i will ask chris who is the workshop manager to talk to whiteline direct in relation to the work i am proposing them to have done on my car.. will let you know when i find details..
  7. yes i can confirm trust makes a 2 gauge pod for the is200 apillar.
  8. guys im in the process of ordering a trd short shifter from matt.. anyone else in? basically the b&m was too expensive in comparison and tdi want you to cover bank charges at both ends.. so more cost to the end user. please let me know by monday 5th july close of business (1 week) in this thread.. and msg matt (frylai) with your interest. matt.. can you tally up interests in the end and adjust shipping rate for the group buy accordingly with a delivery eta? thanks buddy... unless specified, the orders will be for an is200 6mt.
  9. shane.. i've been checking out the forums for mrtrally.com.au they have a dedicated section for whiteline.. from the guys @ whiteline themselves.. will ask if they have applications for the altezzas after i have seen chris @ mrtrally in the next couple days it would be good to check out a local manufacturer from a distribution and support standpoint
  10. good point f_lex and exeter. although from a new member point of view.. i would not want to fork out money for a cruise with a club that has nothing to offer if u know what i mean? sorting out channel distribution, and aftermarket parts, and logistics, sponsorship would be a good starting point for any club.. then we can offset how much we could offer membership cost to members? channel distribution is a great club venture to sort out with our nz counterparts, as we know this has been successful and is ongoing up to this point. the discussion is also open to NZ members :D maybe a mod can move this thread appropriately in the general discussion forum?
  11. an article or a spread in one of those mags or even an ad. would be great for the club.. especially if we can get the ad. for free. but as a club.. where would we want to take it (the club) afterwards? is there some way we can incorporate our nz counterparts? do we want to? if so, how will they incorporate us over in nz? what happens after the initial influx of "enquiry" emails after the magazine spread? are there opportunities to open up channels for cash injection and progress the club further than just an online community? do we just want nzloc as an online community only? do we currently have enough members to contribute to taking this club further that extra step? nzloc have had their own stand in car shows.. do we want to follow the same path? etc, etc.. all are valid questions.. and there are heaps more. just looking this perspective from a business view.. which is what all organised clubs are.. a business. maybe at the end of the day we might just want this chance for exposure into the "limelight" and nothing more. just though i'd open this topic up for discussion..
  12. hey edwin.. can you call the guys in penrith again.. and ask what the prices will be for a group buy and eta's on delivery? i assume this the prices are for trd (yellow) front and rear sways? let's quote on trd yellows as a ball park.. matt (frylai).. during the syd meet, we came to a discussion that a group buy would be in order coming for the near future... can you provide prices on these parts too? cheers mark
  13. hey matt (frylai) can you confirm any of what supadupa has mentioned? re: a-pillar pods for is200/is300/altezza
  14. made an enquiry to mrt rally which is 30 sec drive from my place.. they haven't done work on an is200.. being mostly a suburu shop.. yet a few things are attractive to me.. pros: 1) they do know their stuff in the performance regime 2) they have their own dyno (hence a one stop shop) 3) they are willing to put some time for background knowledge on the car 4) they are the aust. distributors for the water injection system i have and can customise this system for my needs (i have a few ideas floating around) so hopefully the work will be within my budget... will let you know soon-ish! big con: 1) they have not done any engine/performance mods on an is200
  15. yeh then a-pillars are your only option. you dont like the custom pod on the dash above the instrument cluster.
  16. just coz your ride is coming out of the garage in 8 weeks shane!! lol
  17. wait until u see the gauge pods my friend is sending over man... can you wait 2 weeks?? after all yours wont be finished for another 4 weeks right?? ;) did u remove your stock stereo? if so.. what about a 1 din gauge tray?
  18. if you get the kit.. id consider the side skirtings.. dont like the rear bumper buy it someone
  19. great pics man! pray that those solenoids stay where they are! B) keep us updated..
  20. hi all, any thoughts of uprating the fuel tank with a fuel regulator with the IS200's single line? has anyone tried this before.. comments would be appreciated thanks Serran
  21. tdi never scrolled far enough down this page to see that tdi has some.. looks rubbery.. prefer the fibreglass type so can paint over it.. lets see what tdiplc's response will be.. *fingers crossed* personally i like the 2 gauge pod in the middle dash as this has space so the gauges are rotated towards the driver..
