  1. Hi, I also test drove a GS350 F Sport on the weekend.

I was very impressed overall, car looks good with the F Body Styling and also sounds excellent when you give it a bit.

Very refined inside, nice HUD, very roomy and feels classy. Loved the 12.5 inch screen.

It's a lot of car for the money, the competition is a lot more expensive.

With the upgraded stereo and 12.5 screen, it's $110,200 on the road, delivery at the moment is about 8 weeks.

I'm seriously thinking of changing my ISF and getting one of these, I'm looking for a bit more comfort.

I took myself off down to Sydney City Lexus and took out the GS 450H F sport, My god, What a car, All the good bits from the 350 , with out the thirst , Goes very well, handles quite surprisingly given its such a heavy car.

So ive moved on the ISF, and ordered a GS.!

Will post pics when i pick up .!

  2. Picked my car up on Thursday with the headers. Best move I made. Sure it's louder but the sound screams performance.

I can definitely feel acceleration improve.

The only thing I don't like are the stares you get from other cars due to the louder sound.

Have you found your fuel consumption is down.?

  3. Hey Guys,

Has anyone else apart from Richie mounted a set of PPE's on the ISF .... It's been very quiet since they arrived.

Looking for some feedback on gains, issues if any in regards to rattles / failing 02 sensors etc

    Thanks

    Mike

Had Mine just on a month now , and granted i aint home to drive it much, when i do drive it, it cops it. No problems at all , fuel consumption is down , Power is up ...massive

Drove thru M2 tunnel last night and floored it in drive ,(no sport mode) it kicked back to 2nd, and roared away, Trac light was flicking like crazy... so yeah..

Shes Amazing when it can breath!

  4. Hi Richie! Just wanted to know if you ordered everything from Chatswood for $2800?

Yeah bud, $2800 was headers supplied and fitted. Which after feeling the extra power is a dead set bargain.!

I dont know what the Joez exhaust is worth from Chatswood, as i was one of the first to have it on my car in Australia... I imported/ fitted it myself.

  5. Went for a spin in Malibus car- what a noise! the car is now booked in. BTW the headers have arrived, i was watching the owner of lexus bearing the plates M3 Killa have his installed headers installed as well as a LSD - should be fun!

Yeah thanks bud, picked it up today , Goes like stink.! Apparently the LSD centres they ordered us were suited to IS350 as the Diff housing for the ISF is WAYYYY bigger ..

So only got the headers.! they sound horn!

Next step is to dyno it

So that is Headers with the already fitting JoeZ?

What was the price for the headers fitted?

Yeah , JoeZ, and headers, Also got the Icode intake and a Toms filter,.

Hope to Dyno it this week and will post a graph hopefully.

Price was $2800, Labour was bout 6 hours worth .

Its a bit loud, but you can def feel the extra power... i think once the ECU learns the G O then it might be a little better.

Am keen to find out if the NOVEL tune will work or will the ECU relearn over time.

These headers are def worth it if power is the main goal... if its your daily, then you may find it a bit loud, but after you see the factory headers, you will see why these headers make such a difference.!

  7. That's what I'm thinking. But I don't want to order one set by myself and then have to wait a few months?

Sadly Bud , Chatswood are the only ones who can sell the RHD headers to the australasian market.

However, i was advised on the 14th Sep that our headers were on a plane and on there way , so its time to hassle our dealer for these..

I was also advised that PPE have some other go-fast goodies in store for us F owners which they will be showing off at SEMA this year and will be made available to us shortly after that .

  8. Any updates on these headers?

Hey Bud, Yeah After emailing my Contact in the US who actually knows the guy whois taking care of our order for here in Aussie , I was advised that the order was soooo large (30 sets in one go ) that there work load was crazy .. then they had to sent them to the heat coating place and even that took forever.!

Ive got it on good authority that they are still at least 6-8 weeks at least.....

last time i spoke to cid

theres should be showing up at the docks in 3-4 weeks time

    iv ordered 2 sets

SID you mean , didnt actually know last time i spoke to him, I actually informed him, Ive had to go straight to my Contact to find out whats going on as no one else seems to know...

And if current experiences with Chatswood and getting items in thru customs is anything to go by it will take double that . Its almost quicker to order and have it sent directly to your door.!

  9. Only problem i can see regarding the front rotor and getting them Local would be the price..!

Ive found changing the type of pad helps make the rotors last longer, The stock pads dust way to much , and are crazy priced.!

I can vouch for FIGS , he knows his stuff and After seeing his Lower Control Arms for the ISF, i can promise you won't be disappointed in the quality .!

  10. Hey Richie, any news or updates on these?

Sorry I've taken zoo long to get back to you guys, seems when i ask the dealer they can't give me a straight answer, so i went asked a guy who i know in the USA who knows the guys at

PPE (Paul) , and the reply was " that because of the size of the order /workload etc, that they should be ready for shipping in 4 weeks time... yes you read that correct 4 weeks.

Then he reassured us it will be worth the wait.. well i guess some of us have been waiting quite a while for these... ( feb/ march) , so whats a few extra weeks right ..!

  11. News on these, First order was for a few sets, but its seems thats blown out to 30 odd sets. plus 15 odd for the Is350, and after seeing results at the track , yeah if you have a 350 , get a set of these, there was a 350F that was making (i think it was a C63/M3) look silly.

As you can imagine shipping of 30 sets is going to take a while, but they are def coming, !

Will def get some dyno results up asap .!

  12. I logged in just now as I've been trying to find the best way to put things, ( anyone that knows me will tell u i tell it how it is, however that tends to hurt peoples feelings)

but i think Dis-lex has put it the best way ..

If you aint happy , make some noise.. as for *****, She answers phones all day and while I'm not sticking up for her, anyone who has worked with the general public will tell you , some people aint exactly the brightest crayons in the box.. well she has to deal with that day in and day out...( fact is, I've dealt with customers once before in a automotive based role, and trying to listen that your car has a rattle/noise over the phone and expecting a miracle fix for it is quite frustrating )

Go down to the service centre and see someone....

There is a Famous saying,..... "God helps those who help themselves.!! " So make the first move.!

  13. Hey summer,

Sorry to hear of your disappointment of the Chatswood team, but Ive always found if Im not happy with service anywhere, a quick chat with the man in charge often fixes things,.

Sid is very down to earth and will listen to your concerns, and will be sure to follow it up so that your happy.

Hope this helps you be extra happy with the Chatswood team .!
