Hello All The battery on my IS went flat over night. I have done the initializing on the power windows but waht happens now is the the drivers fron window winds up as normal but then winds back down 40mm after it has reached the top. Has anyone had this happen to them before? Cheers

I have found with slotted rotors there is a speed related droaning noise under braking. Has anyone heard this? I have realised that the increased braking performance gained by using these rotors is no compensation for the resulting noise. IMO There is no denying that they look better though!!

Have you reconnected the seat switches.

I recently replaced my front pads and rotors. I went for ebc blacks. I think they call them ultimax. I wouldn't recommend them. Black by name, black by nature. Wheels started to turn black on the way back from the car wash. They do stop well though. With the rotors, They are the same for Aurion so check out the price for Aurion rotors. The part numbers are different but the rotors are the same. There is another toyota model that takes the same one too but I cant remember which one it is. The reason im letting you know this is that maybe because they are for a lexus, You might be paying a premium. Has anyone tried the GCT's. Are they cleaner? Cheers Darren

How much are you looking for, what condition are they in and do they have tyres. I know I should have bought the ones that were for sale a few weeks ago but is has taken me this long to work out that I actually like these ones. im looking at your spoiler as well cheers mate Darren

After getting blown away by the Lexus Australia price of the lip( around 8fiddy)I was on ebay uk the other night. I managed to get a new genuine one, delivered to my door for $450. I thought that was pretty reasonable Cecil

The unit arrived as promised with the specific lexus patch lead. A few problems with the emulation. For people doing it themselves, the easy way for the emulation to begin is to have the ignition on, the unit in program mode and then connect the unit to the car and bingo:lol: the beeping starts and away you go. I mounted the unit by making a bracket and then attached it to the two M6 studs that hang down above the glovebox. This way I could the earth the unit which is what the makers have suggested is the best way. This reduces the chances of earth loops which could cause noise. The glovebox itself needs to be removed to gain access to the studs. I am totally happy with the product. I have used various aftermarket systems before with ipod controllers fitted, namely Pioneer's AVIC and Eclipses AVN6000 and this is every bit as good if not better for sound quality and ease of use.
