  1. I have a set of 19" F sport forged rims with P Zero tires in this section. pm me if interested
  2. Forgot to mention in order to fit the F Sport brakes to standard rims spacers are required for the front at least, possibly the rear depending on the model/rim offset. Spacers are included, the type that bolt to the hub with separate bolts for the rims.
  3. Various F sport parts for sale. They will fit all IS models 2006 - 2013 including ISF except springs/shocks. F sport 19" forged rims with Pirelli P zero Corsa tires.($2k worth of tires) Front 95 % rears never touched the road. $3500 http://is.sewellparts.com/accessories-catalog/fsport/IS350-2013/1807.html F sport big brake kit front and rear. Comes with brand new unfitted rotors front and rear and project mu pads ( $3k alone), braided brake lines. $4000 http://is.sewellparts.com/accessories-catalog/fsport/IS350-2013/2126.htm F sport lowering springs, rear sway bar and bilstein TRD shocks, almost new. $ 850 Located Sydney.
  4. Hi, The mechanical LSD was fitted to the MY10 models, from around August 09. Also come with the USB input. Mechanical diff definitely a plus on the track. ISF more balanced track car than the c63.
  5. Hi, There are plenty of threads discussing particular mods to the ISF such as the exhaust. Thought it might be interesting/useful to see all the mods everyone has done to their ISF in one thread. To kick off, I have the following mods; F Sport big brake kit with 2 piece rotors front/rear Figs rear Mega arms and toelink kit Super pro front lower bushes and upper ecentric bushes KWv3 F sport forged wheels. Pirelli Trofeo 235 front 255 rear Standard wheels with spacers( to clear calipers) PPE Headers, standard exhaust with custom X pipe delete secondary cats Icode intake and filter Flat bottomed carbon topped steering wheel F sport carbon shift knob For me pretty close to the perfect set up for daily driver and occasional track days.
  6. Plenty of exhaust options. Ultimately depends what you want, and prepared to trade off to get it. For me as a daily driver the combination of headers and Joe Z was too loud and drones at avg commuting speed. I know some of the guys who have this set up are putting extra sound deadening in the boot to reduce the in car noise. I have settled on the PPE headers, standard exhaust with a custom X pipe which removes the secondary cats. Nice sound, not too loud and reasonable for daily driving. Haven't dynoed it to compare to the full PPE/JOE Z set up but definatley more responsive.
  7. Agree with Mikes comments on the KW. I had an issue with my first set replaced under warranty no questions and no problems since. I agree the quality of the KW is a step up from the Tiens. I am running a track set up at the moment. Not too bad on the daily commute but too stiff for some enthusisatic driving on back roads. I am about to change the set up and have CPC put on the Figs engineering mega arms, toe links and stiffer bushings plus an ecentric upper bushing to get more front end camber.
  8. The car is pretty well balanced . Oversteer/understeer depends on application of power. You will have no issue getting the back out on the skip pan with application of power. The LSD makes it quite controllable once you get the back out. It is not as easy as it looks though but a lot of fun practicing !
  9. Went out to the skid pan at Eastern Creek Friday night. Perfect venue for the ISF and a great way to learn more about car control. Would anyone be interested in organizing a Lexus day at the skid pan with an instructor? Also of interest of the 10 cars there the only ones that had no mechanical or heat issues were the Lexus, Porsches and McLaren. Actually the McLaren did have heat issues....... Blue flames shooting out the exhaust.
  10. 3 groups running 20 minute sessions thru the day. Plenty of track time. Usually get 5 to 6 Lexus turning up. Good day hope to see you there. Also worth doing a skid pan day, something to get Chatswood Lexus onto.
  11. Hi I am going on the 30th. Done a few of the events O'Neill days, good events. Always get an interesting line up of cars. Luke runs an ISF himself. More ISFs the better. Check your insurance, it is a grey area. Some policies cover advance driver training others dont. Instructors are availble and the beginners group gets a lap of the track with instructors first up then they are optional. It is not a Lexus sanctioned event. Of all the event I have been to the Events O'Neill are the best run, no overtaking by consent properly policed and due to the expensive machinery everyone plays nicely. As you say Rob , got to try it once.. be warned you are likely to get hooked.... then start playing with the car to make it faster....
  12. Had the same issue. Drive belts slipping under load apparently.
  13. I am interested. Might be worth talking to Sid at Chatswood Lexus about rounding up a few more. If we need numbers I can probably rustle up a few non Lexus exotics. Add interest to the day. Are you looking at exclusive track hire? If sufficient interest also hire a few instructors.
  14. HI, I did the opposite, the forged rims for the track as they are lighter, OEM with spacers for the road. Wasnt keen on rolling the guards but would be interested to see the result. Who is fitting the KW's if you dont mind asking? Have you sourced semislicks for the OEM size? Limited options but running standard offset you can fit a wider tyre. I ended up with standard size p zero corsa. Without camber adjustment we have found need to run very high pressures. Which track days do you do? There are a few ISFs at the Burrows Drive days at EC, next one next Wednesday. Chatswood Lexus also organising a few drive and track days.
