Go for 335i M-Sport if you can afford it. Turbo car easily tune. Once you do ECU tune, you will never look back.

If you looking for decent tyres, get Michelin PSS or goodyear F1 Asymmetric 2. I personally recommend Goodyear

Wait 1-2 years, and you can drive away at brand new $65k easily ( assuming you buying 2013 plate at year 2014/2015 ). So many new car at this current market ( considering A45 , CLA45 ). Im not saying new IS is crap, but lexus is having a tough competition here.

Yes, it is good oil. you can also use 5w30. or try castrol edge also very good.

The pad number you had now is: 0446530410 if you contact Lexus USA which I did last year, they gave me 0446530450 and here is the response from lexus USA: lexus changed the part. The number im giving you is the updated version. The older part number is the one with the squealing problem.

I raised this concern last year when it happens to my is350 2011. Its all about faulty brake pads ( it was also mention on lexus USA ). I had my POST in this forum before, but there was arrogant MODS deleted the topic. thanks

Can anyone recommend good supplier for is350 windscreen ? other than O BRIEN ( i heard Obrien is not good enough ). i got about 2cm chip crack at passenger side. and would like to replace whole windscreen ( since i got NRMA to cover windscreen ). cheers

If you're using decent oil then you're just wasting your money dropping it every 5K. The average synthetic like Castrol Edge 5w-30 will be good for at least 10K-15K. If you're that concerned get a UOA (used oil analysis) done to see how well it's holding up. Its not wasting money. for is350, you will feel the different if oil change at 10k. once you change it, the revs feel alot better and smoother. ( I can really feel it, I never regret change every 5k ). its only oil and it cost $70 every 5k , better than stealership charge $680. plus your drive feels better, engine last longer.

change your oil engine every 5000kms yourself. save you huge $$$. genuine lexus oil filter is also very cheap.

Not much you can do with is350. If you looking for more tuning system, you should consider 335i / 135i , but the price more dearer than lexus.
