i see how does a dual core sub function? from rear shelf seem like there are two openings for speakers on the top? interesting stuff, sorry for all the dumb Qs

arent there two subs on the parcel shelf already as stock?

"see dealer" because they are factory leds and desgined to last the life of the car pretty much....if something does go wrong must be warranty issue and very rare.... whats wrong with your ones?

also u think to update lights, is it worth ssacrtificing rear fogs >? would u or would u just get USDM ISF lights, which im aiming at now?

no SL has xenons, radar cruise control, rear blinds etc etc that the prestige dont have only addition is sat nav and revserse camera to prestige..... SL has much more even elctric steering adjustment, led light door scuff plates, memory seats and what not..........(rain sensors, auto dim mirror) some of these can be found on a 'sports' model though but not all things there is probably alot more to list but this is only off top of my head, oh and standard 17 inch wheels compared to the 16s

Hi all, just looking at ordering these from north miami lexus, and they say it doesnt have fog lights build in them? is this true that US dont have fogs? or they dont know that it has the fogs in it? pls let me know so i go ahead with ordering or not thanks :) Z

good to hear that its not just me who finds this unusual, all my other cars and toyotas seemed to be really quick particularly the 07 corolla at home. the dealer wreckons this should be quick as its all aluminium engine. He thinks it could be thermostat not working properly? wonder if lexus does it to protect the engine so we dont hammer it until its really warm......? fuel economy is really food for me (for mixed) driving to be honest really weird? would love more observations from ppl

Hi all, Just noticed since i got my car that the engine takes long to get to its full (middle area of the gauge) warm status. Can you guys tell me how long it takes your car to be fully warm, so i can get my thermostat checked out... Mine takes approx 11 mins i believe thanks Z

Thanks for the Chat Mike Was lovely talking to you.... SCP are happy to hear it and fix it if they hear it in the 3 month stat warranty period. Spoke to Chatswood lexus, sydney city lexus and parramatta lexus and all said that its just a noise and causes no damage to engine otherwise Lexus Australia would have published a recall, they have published a fix for it for those who complain....apparently they have this in writing published from Lexus Aust Mine has only done it once and it apparently happens very randomly, none the less i am hoping it happens in the cooler next couple of month so dealer can hear it....

its true, there is from Lexus US dustless oem pads, that were as part of a recall or something.....there was a thread on this

thanks all for the help and replies Just spoke to Chatswood Lexus and cost is about $2.5k to get this sorted. He said its just a sound and nothing will damage :) Also leaving it cold as in my case i took my car out of the garage, rinsed it with water and backed back in and rattled first time in morning....when u shut down while warm it will be ok, supposedly.... Anyway, i have some time now as it will be cold soon to see if its a regular thing.... Above is reassuring and he said there are many customers where this happens and its normal and nothing wrong with engine..... cheers Z

Thanks Ashpoint, is it something that damages or effects performance or just annoying? If its out of warranty, do you know how much this kind of repair will cost? Hopefully happens with in the 3 months stat warranty with the dealer i bought it from and he is happy to sort it out....! thanks Z

hi just bought an IS 250 - 07 model a month ago and for the very first time i heard the rattle this morning :( Hope its not hard to replicate as i only got it happening once yet....

Chatswood Lexus told me they cant even do door locks pre 2010 models? :(

Hi All, I have an 07 IS, and i noticed while my car was @ service that on the courtesy car from lexus the tranny would go into sequential mode and paddles become active if i click at one of them, and goes back to normal mode if i hold down the right paddle down. My car doesnt do that, is that something that needs programming or is a later model thing? Also noticed doors lock and unlock automatically in the new one for which lexus say its a new model thing and cant be programmed on 07 models? can anyone confirm? thanks Zed

im getting suspension noise or what i think is suspension noise when i do a three point turn in my drive way, so mixture of slope and crwaling speed turns (sometimes full lock) lexus thought its brakes and "we will lubricate brakes" nothing has changed after that, i think its just suspension drying due to weather, hope no more than that?

cool will aim at getting 5K HID or 6k HIDs want to buy from someone who sells and will install too anyone know anyone who does that in Sydney pls tell me

HID it is, what colour do u guys usually go for as i want as oem look as possible? i believe 4300K is oem colour for xenons? i noticed most of the ppl on the forums get 6000K, is that bluer than usual oem colour? i just want what current mercs audis IS250 SLs etc have pls advise? i heard that our lens have bit more yellow to it hence the 6K makes it a perfect white? so just want to clarify its not too blue and still looks oem? can u guys recommend a good kit and someone who can install? thanks heaps........so keen to chk out everyone's cars and the awesome unique hard work put into each one's mods :)

i was lucky to get F-Sport wheels on it! so no need to worry of Rx wheels although i think the 18 Rx will look awesome on the IS only thing is they are not staggered so may not fill the back as much

hi guys maybe a stupid question, where do u guys get the ISF outer lights and how much do they set u back? easy to install? thanks Zed
