Hey guys, Was about to just spend money on a new watch but decided to hold off and finally a 2012 MY13 Lexus ISF in pearl white was on sale and I picked it up after test driving it. Need to pick it up on a week or two as there was some front bumper damage and they said they had to get it sent to an authorised panel shop to get it replaced and repainted and not any random panel shop due to it being an ISF and the colour also harder to match?? They mentioned that it will not look as perfect as Factory sprayed as well. Really looking forward to picking it up, thanks again. Anything else I should know about the car? this one has BT music streaming correct?

Definitely the upgraded performance is first priority. Currently have the IS250 with standard sound system so I'm sure the ISF one will sound better. Will wait until there is a 12+ model on carsales and I'll see if I can snatch it up for a decent price. Thanks guys.

Oh that's good to hear that the bluetooth streaming feature only started from 2012 onwards, which is quite shocking to me that this feature was implemented so late. Definitely will look for a 2012 onwards then as using the AUX cable is such a pain. I'm not looking to change rims either as it just isn't worth it, I remember looking at upgrading to the F-sport rims a while back and the cost was ridiculous. So 2012 is MY12 or MY13 onwards? I noticed that you can get 2011 MY12 which still have the old wheels.

Hey guys, I'm looking to upgrade my current 2010 MY11 IS250 and since i've been quite happy the last 3 years with it as my first car, i'm looking at an upgrade. Initially I was looking at getting something a bit more modern with the latest tech, 3rd gen IS350 or RC350 F-sport , however I think i'd much rather an actual F car. I've been actively looking on carsales for a used one as they seem to have dropped in price a fair bit and is about the same price as a newish RC350 F-Sport, not having that much luck though as the numbers keep declining over the last few months! :( One thing i'm not sure about is which year/version I should be getting. From browsing the forums, it seems like anything after 2011 is what I should be looking at? Those wheels look amazing the ones you linked, I saw them on their ebay page and contemplated getting them but costs too much :( Plus I just scraped the chit out of my left front wheel the last month and put me off getting any new wheels because I'd most likely scrape my new ones again in the future.

Hi, I'm looking at buying a spoiler/lip for my is250 and am not sure which one I should be looking at because I have a 2010 but MY2011 model. I want the 2011 one but am not sure it will fit mine. It seems like I should be looking at the 2011 one as the front of mine doesn't look like the 2010 would fit, it looks too round whereas mine goes inwards like the 2011 version. I can't tell though as google images doesn't seem to be reliable when searching 2010 is250 and 2011 is250.

Can only find the 1 that was linked for 38k, 2009 edition, done around 30000kms. Too bad it's on the other side of Melbourne as well :( Would offering 2-3k less be unreasonable? It does seem to be the cheapest out of the lot I can find on carsales, the rest are around 45k+ Also does the SL editions have any markings/badges on the car? or would you just have to look for things like woodgrain interior to differentiate them from a prestige with added EMV enhancement package.

Oic, the sports luxury looks far better than the other prestige+emv then, as they're both asking for 38k would asking for 35k cash in hand too steep? tbh, I don't want more to spend more than 38k including rego/insurance

Yep, I got that car saved on my list as well, a bit far from where I live but should be ok, would be more value over the prestive with EMV pack as well. Not many differences between the sports luxury and the prestige with EMV pack other than the sound system and a few other minor upgrades i guess.

Hey all, Planning on getting a lexus is250 2nd hand, just wondering if any of you had some tips/advice regarding the different models available. I'm looking at the 35k price range, under 40,000kms done and preferably an my09/10 model. I've done a bit of research on the different badges available (prestige/X/sports luxury), although I'm not sure what the differences are between the Series, MY08, MY09, MY10, MY11 and so on. There doesn't seem to be many "alive" forums for lexus is250 owners either, so I can't find much to just read on about the car.
