Ok old thread but what model Sony are you using, and has anyone had any success using any mini tablets cheers.  There are many different Sony xperia models.

That would depend on the tablet, but most mini tablets probably wouldn't get the job done like ISFBloke's phone or similar. Most mini tablets are price focused, so aren't exactly generous with sound output compared to top tiered smartphones for example.

  2. Less a lack of interest & more a lack of an answer to your question.

Are you sure it used to happen when you press twice? I know it works when you hold the lock button for example (closing windows & sunroof).

Best to call Lexus for a price or search the US forums thoroughly first. No idea re Techstream.

MR2QIK,   I did not ask Sonny if he could do that, but he might be able to.  It feels much nicer to drive, I think I know your mods, you should get it done.

    Give Sonny a call.

Might give him a call sometime. I do want to be able to rev to 7000rpm. My mods would make my ISF an ideal candidate for tune (headers, borla, intake, ported manifold & tb).

You still didn't answer my question HOW LONG TO TUNE the car as in time ,,AND IS ANYONE ELSE DOING THE TUNE ON ISF yet,, cheers SPARKY. I JUST HAVE TO GET IT DONE and i know before and after on tuned cars, as i have had a few done before, cheers.

Perhaps you call them & get a definitive answer. If Sparky's was first he did, he may have needed it longer for example.

  5. I can chime in here. Take a look at your suspension, that's the only way to confirm. If you have Tokico dampers, then you get the older model Swift springs. If you have the newer ZF Dampers, then get the 2012's. I had 2012 Swift springs, sold them to Vaku but they didn't fit his 2011 (which had Tokico Dampers).

I'm going to go with 19s - turns out that red ISF in their site that they claim is running 20s actually has 19s. With tein Spring drop it looks mint- will run 245/35 at front and 275/35 rear

Good to hear. I'd go with Swift springs instead of Tein.

  7. It's gone. I bet I'll regret not buying an ISF watch one day. There was a limited edition MR2 watch made by Citizen 20 years ago, which I've been keeping an eye out for ever since, huge regret not buying when I had the chance (for my MR2 turbo).

  8. I have 19's & honesty think they look plenty big enough considering the size of the ISF body. I have stock sized 255/35 rear tyres & lower profile but wider 235/35 fronts. Didn't like how 40 profiles looked up front.

It depends on the style of the wheel. I admit, the longer spokes on the rims you're after, do look better in 20 than 19. But the pic of the 19's has 40 profile rubber from the looks of it, which diminishes their affect somewhat. I do recommend lowering either way. I have coilovers but didn't lower a huge amount & can still go up my nasty driveway without damaging my CF Toms lip.

  9. I think you're in limp mode. Hence the 1st gear lockout. You can try the code reset, there's instructions on clublexus. Pending that, I wouldn't stress. A lot of things can cause that, varying from a voltage drop dying battery to a speed sensor wire being worn down.

  10. Go headers! Won't regret it. Even though I got mine from Lexmania, I only really saved $1000-$500 compared to going via Lexus Chatswood.

Back on topic, I'm still not sold on ecu tune, even considering I have all the bolt ons & manifold/tb porting. I think there is a gain to be had, but not a lot. I think Lexus didn't leave much on the table. It did open the door for cam upgrades & forced induction for those that are game though.

  11. I can say that coilovers certainly didn't make mine worse. I did gain adjustability. I wonder if 08-10 with decent coilovers matches 2011+ in handling.

Don't have a good enough phone/processor to fix my audio quality.
