Nice dude...Will have to catch up with you in Auckland sometime.
-
Well the best I've gotten out of a full tank was 485km and the fuel light was constantly on
thats driving 2000-3000rpm and mostly without air con :>
fark! - I get around the 500k mark (sometimes 510 sometimes 480) and thats with aircon on all the time and around town plus across town each day...
And i wouldnt of said i was easy on the car...
David
Im getting around the 500km mark as well and thats giving it *BLEEP* nearly everywhere I go.

Dam Matt, you should get a comission from Meguiars for that sort of infomercial.

my stereo wont play disc #6 at all and its only ever come up with one error message, cant wait to replace it though after hearing Gav's setup. Nice sounds man. I will certainly be calling on your expertise when the time comes. :D

to see what I found from the toyota japan website use the link, you may have to do some translation using the babelfish translation software, the specs marked with the green squares are the standard features and the orange ones are the optional parts with the extra cost in japanesse yen.
you will see the letters LSD amongst the japanesse symbols, that is the line to look at.
-
From what I have found on the toyota japan website it says the 6M/T RS200 doesnt have LSD but the 6M/T RS200Z and L editions do. The auto RS200 and RS200z had the LSD as an option but the L edition had one.
In the AS200 4A/T it shows there were no LSD in any of the editions, But the 6M/T had LSD on all 3 editions.
The LSDs are the Torrsen type, not that I know what that means.

Good to meet you today Keith,
Yeah, I had just under a full tank of gas and probably about a 6 kg toolbox in the boot.
The jap specs i have are:
RS200 6m/t=1350kg 5a/t=1340
RS200Z 6m/t=1370 5a/t=1370
RS200L 6m/t=1390 5a/t=1400
AS200 6m/t=1310 5a/t=1320
As200z 6m/t=1340 5a/t=1340
as200l 6m/t=1370 5a/t=1360
Then they are heavier again with other options such as sun roof etc from what i can translate from japanesse

Will hopefully finish around 1pm but i could sneak away at any time to meet you there.
I will call you tomorrow around 11am.
Aaron.

Just wondering when the next meet is going to be and what will it be, a cruise?, a race around pukekohe? cos theres nothing marked on the calender. Any ideas? :D
-
I am going to see if they are open tomorrow to weigh mine again after work. Do you know if they are open on sundays?
Keith yours is nearly 200kg lighter thats a big difference from what the jap specs say and what mine weighed, have you checked that all your car is there? :)
They must be losing money if their scales are that far out.
-
How much do you want for the front lip?
I saw the keying on your boot lid. Man that F***s me off. I would kill the guy if I saw him doing that to anyones car!!!
Who does this piece of crap think he is?
Evans European in Penrose did a good job on a mates car when his got done and they do a lot of work on prestige vehicles so i guess they are used to doing quality work.

Keith
The Knight and Dickey weigh bridge is in Waiuku at their truck depot just as you go into town.
It cost me $5.00 and i got a print out. I made sure that it was zeroed first.
If you dont go there i will go to the one in East Tamaki after work on monday. Where in Eat Tamaki is the place you went to?
-
Hey Guys
Had my RS200Z weighed today on Knight and Dickeys weighbridge just out of interest for when I get my RSM. I had just under half a tank of fuel and with me out of the car and it was 1350kg. Pretty much where the japs reckon. Maybe Greeneyes is a lightweight version or something. Did the japs do a lghtweight race version like the mitsi evo rs or the suby RS?
-
HI Keith
If they make money of those scales i wouldnt trust them! :) maybe greeneyes only weighs 900kg! :D
Nah should be alright they would have to have them calibrated frequently i would think
-
Hi Matt
Could you put me down for a JDM Dash Tray.
cheers.
-
Hi Gavin.
Yeah, that would be good. Catch up with you later.
-
Cheers guys
Gavin I would be very keen to check it out some time. I think it will be my next purchase.
I cant have the engine cutting out at 190km/h down the back straight at pukekohe :D
where are you situated? what day would you be free?
-
I got a new HKS filter of Matt today and installed it. what a difference. Smoother between gear shifts and definitly better above 5000rpm and more responsive I was quite surprised. $140 well spent I think.
Probably cos i was used to a 70000km old factory filter.
-
Is this the RSM that over rides the speed and rev cutouts in the factory ecu? Does it also monitor the acceleration etc? what else does it do?
If it does all this it seems like an essential mod to me.
What did it cost you all up Lextcy?
-
3 altezzas and 1 lexus during the week and an altezza 10 minutes ago.
Just as well i got more cards of Matt today.
-
Matt
do you think you could get a genuine toyota single DIN radio surround or a quality after market one?
-
Hi Matt
When is he coming over? How soon do you need to know what we want?
-
Hey Guys
Im from pukekohe, Work in East Tamaki Sunday to Thursday
Greeneyes, if you are in pukekohe on a Friday or saturday you may see me around.
Give me a call (021 369 360) if you are around the area, it would be good to meet you.
Nice number plates
Do u get hassled by the cops a lot? :P
Hi Lextcy
Howz things? Nah the cops leave me alone actually With the exception of one smart ass cop on the way to Hamilton that got me for speeding along the new motorway. I think he really only wanted to check out the Altezza.
