Make sure you have some games on your phone and some reading material just in case you cant get a signal.
-
YES Definitely.
Modern technology saving lives can only be a good thing, especially with inexperienced or idiot drivers.
-
So it really comes down to cost of products to repair and time and hassle Vs Cost of replacement.
In this case I think Ogkiko did the right thing spending the $100 even though it was a bit pricey.
I am still a bit sceptical on how an abrasive i.e 1200- 1500 grit can make plastic as clear as new, Polish maybe.
-
wrxhoon......
Please tell me what you would have done to fix scratched plastic as I am quite interested to know .
-
Merry Christmas and a safe and happy new year to all..
-
Sounds like you have done your best to fix the problem and made it worse, by the time you spend the money and time trying to fix it and stressing,
you may as well spend the $100 and be done with it.
Scratched plastic is near impossible to make clear again....
Don't waste your time or money on products that probably wont give you the desired results.

Welcome Blue
Congrats on the new purchase, I don't mind the Mercury Grey, Enjoy the new drive.

We couldn't build Lexus in this country because of the labour costs and other factors, that is why Holden and eventually Toyota will cease production in Australia.
Holden cars will Never come close to the quality build of any Lexus .
Why would I want to pay more for a Lexus that was built to a lesser standard.

Both hands up here
I had it on my playstation years ago and was addicted to it, I had heaps of cars in my garage.
My son tells me it might be coming out for XBOX,
I said move over buddy this may be the 1st game I can actually play better than you.
Being a Sony game I'm not to sure it will happen though. will have to be content with Forza 4.
-
I have found the same thing happens to mine, have tried to get it off with some armor all but that didn't help, I haven't tried moisturiser yet but will give it a go.

1995 Toyota 4 Runner SR5 V6 another great 4WD that lived up to Toyotas Standard..Again Unbreakable

2005 Toyota Landcruiser Prado V6 petrol (My first ever Automatic drive...A very capable and reliable 4WD ) Still in my Stable
2007 Toyota Corolla, wifes car daily runabout and shopping centre car, has dents and scratches to prove it, rock solid reliability
and great on fuel.
2012 Lexus IS350 F Sport, by far the best car I have ever owned...and I love it...

Yes and that is a great thing being owned or part of Toyota
Toyota score higher in JD Powers quality tests than BMW
And Lexus score higher again.
All Lexus in Australia are made in Japan all having the same level of fantastic build quality.
BMW are not all made in Germany, many made in South Africa or worse the USA.
So much for German build quality.
You made the right choice so just smile next time a South African taxi cruises past wearing its 325i badge :)
Well said dis-lex-sic
You couldn't have put it any better.
After having owned Toyotas for many years I can attest to there reliability and resale value.
My decision to buy Lexus was made on research and the points you make not to mention the Bang for Buck.
People who compare Lexus to Toyotas usually drive BMW or Mercedes..
-
They have plenty of Grunt, I love the sound of the engine when I give it some stick........... :) :).
-
Thanks ThomasPanssy
That photo does make the tint and wheels look darker, I love the Pearl White it's so easy to keep clean and looks great in the sunlight..

Yes its the old shape last of the 2is F Sport still a good price I think, Ex demo 2000 ks and was virtually brand new

I love the look of the new RC Coupe and would be quite happy to wait patiently for the F version. :)

Hi Cartee
My F sport is a new addition to the stable, I currently own a Landcruiser (for towing the boat)
and a corolla (my partners car) which I run around in as well.
I have owned Toyotas, mostly Hilux since 1980 and have found them to be very reliable with
a very good resale value.
When I was looking for a new toy it was between Lexus and Audi A5, Although the A5 coupe is a great looking car I chose the Lexus because of the bang for buck and reliability, to get an A5 with similar performance/features I would have had to spend around an extra $20k.
I find Lexus to be a very well built solid car, I got this in July this year for $56800.which I thought was a bargain.
I am very interested in the RC coupe but would wait for the F version..

Congrats on the new drive..
How good is it to own a Lexus....Just love them....

My Insurer has an excess for windscreen and glass claims, this is listed as separate to the basic excess applying to all other claims.

I have an IS350 F Sport and a heavy foot, when I give it some she certainly likes a drink.
I got the 350 because I wanted more Grunt than the 250
She runs on unleaded 98 and I couldn't care what the fuel consumption was, I just love the power
and the way she handles.
Not trying to be a smart ass but if I was worried about fuel consumption I would have bought a Corolla.
