Don't buy it from the US. It's for the left hand drive variant. What that means is the foot-rest will not fit.

Hi Ricky, the parking brake doesn't have one from the official factory kit. If you check ebay you can get Chinese pedals that have it but I don't think they're very nice... the factory kit as pictured looks a lot more OEM.

Do it, be the guinea pig - one small click on the computer but a giant leap for the Lexus community. ;)

The proportions of the LED strip/chrome surrounding etc. all look wrong and slightly awkward though...

Did they end up paying or did insurance make them?

After unsuccessfully trying to win Dannys F-Sport wheels on eBay (out snipped at 1 second left :( ), I'm looking for something else.

Can anyone suggest any wheels that would look good on a standard dark grey IS?

I think costs are fairly similar, F-Sport being a few hundred more. Any other suggestions would be appreciated too :)

A good compromise would be F Sport springs.

I read the drop isn't really noticeable with these, do you think it's still worth getting?

I have stock shock with tanabe spring, and I'm loving the look and the ride quality too. Tiny bit firmer but not harsh yet.

But it's all depends on how low and how much comfort ride quality you're willing to trade.

If you use an aftermarket ballast then you won't need the ballast but will it fit into the OEM wiring and seal the headlight properly? The Lexus ballast is designed to form a seal around the headlight and keep out moisture/air. If I were you, I'd just buy a cheap second hand set on ebay.

That's all the parts you need and the bulbs too. If you want it to work like stock 2011+ models, in the sense that the DRL turns on in the day and 50% dimmed at night you might need to make a harness unless Chatswood knows how to do that.

It's a great upgrade though, be sure to post up some pictures when you're done :)

Why did it take so long for the damage to show up ?

It was ok when I left the car wash.....I didn't look but I presume it didn't look like it does now,

Maybe they forgot to rinse off the cleaner and let it dry? Then slowly it has been eating away the clear.

They said to try hand polishing, if it has eaten into the clear though I'm not sure of how much help that would be.

Might be a bit too acidic - I'll post your pictures on a detailing forum and see what they have to say.

I'm just wondering, does this height look legal (above 100mm off ground) and what impact would it have on insurance policies - would they have to be informed (raised costs maybe)?

Ps. they're H&R Springs - do they need to be ADR approved or something?

Yeah, I reckon the black ones would look a lot nicer. Just like the OEM ISF wheels.

I keep reading more and more carbon build up problems on the Lexus USA forums but hardly hear a thing here about it here. I'm just wondering if we were plagued with the same issues?
