Dealer said this is 'black chrome' it does look better in real life....I don't know how it'll look on my mystic gold IS, might look horrible hahaha I did bit of photoshop to see how new wheels will look on my car. Check these out: Which one better? what do you guys think? At this point I like the f-sport wheel better, more aggresive appereance, where the x-wheels look more exclusive / luxury.

I went to my local dealer: Lexus Blackburn and ask about 18" oem and they show me this: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/130962712188?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 They said this wheels are really rare, freshly shipped from Japan, and they part of Lexus JP accesory line. $3000 fitted with Conti tyres (they will confirm the tyres brand again). Does this sound too expensive? or decent deal?

The cheapest f-spring so far that i can find on ebay is around AU$330 dlivered, not including install. I guess your local mechanic can do the install fairly easy. They said the spring will work with stock shock as well. Here's the link: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/190811624194?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

I actually find these replica 19" LFA wheels from US lexus forum.... 1 dude on that forum put 1them on 350, using f-sport spring and he claim that no-rubbing issue at all. http://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-second-generation/623073-my-19-lfa-replica-wheels-4.html Looking reallly good on the pic....love the simplicity and the clean look of it

I think sports lux and prestige do share the same suspension hence same ride height and sports had slightly lower suspension. and if i'm not wrong sport lux rims around that year is 17" not 18". Sports model have the 18" one. I did a bit of photoshop myself :) to try out my car with different rims. I personally like the 18" f-sport rim second choice would be 18" sport wheels. Looking for one as well right now. I saw few isf reps on ebay. They might ship to Perth as well.

Thanks Bowen :) Here's my action plan: Take it to Lexus and supply my own Spark plugs (from Manukau Toyota $115) and supply my own engine oil. I think I'll save some $$ and still have full Lexus service history this way. And hoping that they'll give me is350 for replacement car hahaha Is Mobil1 5-30w the one should I buy?

My is250 90k service is coming up soon too, Contacted Lexus City Melb and Lexus Blackburn they both quoted around $1300 mark.....expensive :( But I guess it worth doing it on the dealership for the sake Luxus service history? and the quality as well? Alternatively I now a guy had a workshop specialised in Jap car, preety sure he can do it way cheaper. Any toughts / input guys?

Hi guys, After years of ownership of european sedan, I decided to get IS250 instead. And it was the best car that I've ever drive. Love the dynamics and the look....oh my goodness she's beautiful. My mystic gold IS250 is not the most popular color, but I fall in love with the color, it does compliment the body line a lot and it is very japanese in character too :) Looking to get 18" and f-sport spring fairly soon.
