Hi. Please educate us more on your findings.

Could you not use E10 undiluted?
-
Ive never changed a crush washer on about 20 vehicles. Doesn't mean you shouldn't but they are not normally a problem.
Never had a leak or nor do I over tighten.
Years ago when they were copper we used to hit them with a flame to re anneal.
-
Dunno..your maths is prob better than mine😕
-
Ive been running on 98 for the last year or so.
Car goes well and returns average commuting inc freeway, of 10.5 l/100ks
Been trying E10 for the last 5 tanks. (min 95) 23c a litre cheaper, $10 a fill approx less.
Still runs the same, actually feels to have more mid range torque.
Economy of 12 l/100ks same commuting.
Injector rattle under low speed accel is also a bit quieter.
Savings of about $7 a fill for same /same 🚗

re cabin filter
IMPORTANT: Please ensure that the vehicle is in recirculate mode. If not, you will force open the computer controlled damper and damage the HVAC system.
-
Its up to you BUT ensure you follow the correc procedure to change the cabin filter or you will stuff up the recirc switch.

Was a spare F Sport wheel I had in good condition.
I just did it as a trial.
Took about 2 hours with wheel stripped back.
Not a perfect job from my end but would turn out better next time or if I re did it.
One of those things where you learn a lot 1st time making it easier 2nd time .

Just fitted one of these to try it out on my IS.
Came out pretty good, similar to pic in add. I asked for grey thread.

I have found if I close and reopen door it stops.
Allows some peace when working with door open.

Thanks for that! Might try supplying my own oil too then, however for some reason I get the feeling that dealerships won't like that as they probably lose a bit of potential money haha. May I ask, how much did you pay for your 75k? A friend of mine recently did hers and paid a whopping 1.2k, which seemed a bit too high.
As I said. Take your own oil. Get it at a Repco sale. Dealer wont care if you supply oil as long as it meets spec.
Cost me $726 (90k service) Only parts I paid for were filter(s), brake fluid and key battery.

Good idea to add your location ;)
-
Can you add more details please.
-
Now if only there was mirroring or similar for an 2011 with factory gps..........................
-
Ive had my 75k at Melbourne Lexus. Offered me a car but I went for a tour of the City instead.
Team was courteous. Nothing more to say really. Supplied my own oil so saved about $100 :)
-
I wonder if Lexus will still replace them free?
-
In my opinion I cant see the need to replace the rest, its just adds cost unless you have no option there. If so a member above on here is selling a complete system..
You wont get any power benefits just a different sound either way.
Edit: go the rear muffler change.
-
Not that Im aware. They do there own fabricating work.
I havent got around to getting my rear section done as yet.
Give them a call.
-
Im probably all out of warranty

What can members tell me in regard this. Just noticed some in one of mine
I tried a search but came up zero based on headlight bubbling, issues etc
-
Fitting would be oil more than likely....
-
Any clues for the rest of the members?
-
Well done with the effort. Id say no one will even notice the issues unless you point them out or they are inspecting it.
I have been involved in getting commercial vehicles "vinyl wrapped" in the past. (Note: Not saying it is the same stuff but is subject to similar installation issues etc). There was always some issues. Air in concave areas, no matter how much it was pushed, eventually our heat made it try to take up its flat profile, dust under the film. Even when done in dust filtered paint booths there was always some. Stretch marks and bubbles that showed up when certain angles of the sun hit the vehicles.. Dulling of the surface, esp if colored....:( You're right re darker, mat colors, etc being more forgiving. Does work well to protect the original paint though esp from stone chips.
Blending E85 (or other octane enhancers) with regular 98 octane PULP ??

Would'nt you need to run it for a week or so for computer to properly adjust to get max advantage.
Toyota engines are know to take up to a months driving to get full benefits from changes (workshop chatter from my customers)
