New (Ish) In Sydney

Hi, I know or have met some of you at events around the place - perhapps through Toymods or lexusownersclub. But following the advertisments for the Dyno day I hasd forgotten there was a decent Lexus forum based right here at home.

Anyhow, I have a 2000 model Lexus IS200 that I have built over the last 4 years. It has a highly developed 2JZGTE transplant and many supporting mods. The car has always been designed to "go" as a priority over "show", a philosophy that is largely lost amongst the lexusownersclub community.

Most recent news for the car was a 9th outright finish at the inaugrual Coates Hire Temora 1000. A single release straight line 1000m sprint held on the Temora Aviation Museum airstrip.

I managed a best of 22.048s@264.3 kph. You can look up lots of 1000m results for comparison, but lets just say it has 'adequate' pace.

I'm hoping to do a lot more circuit events in the near future and would love to do some with like minded toyota/lexus enthusiasts.
