Gents,

I'm in market for a MY11+ ISF, saw a few of them last week already. One question for your stock ISF owners, the wheel arch space (between fender/guard and tyre) in the front is noticeably bigger than the rear. The front has about 3 fingers and rear about 1.5 fingers. When you look at the car far from the side, it's very apparent the two spaces are not even.

Is this normal on stock car with OEM wheel? Any reason why Lexus has this setup?

Thanks

William

Yes you are correct about the wheel arch space, on a stock car with oem wheels.

Thanks John!

But it looks a bit weird when they not evenly spaced, I would thought if any the rear should have more space to absorb the passenger weight and acceleration down force.

If you look at the side view of the ISF, you can see there is less ground clearance at the front.  It still leans forward, but does look like it could be dropped an inch at the front.

Cheers! I guess a set of KW will fix it up nicely.

Also it may be so tyre doesn't hit on full lock and you hit a bump
