I couldn't find a thread for this particular issue anywhere so I thought I'd make an account ask.

I've recently bought a used 2005 Lexus IS250 Sports Luxury. It has an automatic setting for the headlights - but it has a weird quirk.

Every single time that the low-beam lights come on or off automatically, the car makes a very loud "beep" sound. And I mean it when I say loud... it's so loud that it startles me every time and actually hurts my ears a little.

The car makes the sound even if I adjust the headlights manually! No matter what happens, if the low-beam lights come on or turn off in any situation the car beeps once really loudly.

I've scoured the internet and have found nothing related to a problem like this.

Does anyone know what could be going on? Is it normal?

EDIT: I've checked all the lights and they are working perfectly, including the AFS system. Also the beep occurs whether or not the AFS system is enabled or not.

But there is...

I'm going to take a video of it tonight and upload it, is it possible to upload videos on this site? Or am I better off uploading a youtube video and linking it?
