Hi, first time poster, be gentle ;)

I'm looking to spend roughly $20-25k AUD on a Lexus for a family member, as they're a life long Toyota driver and wanted something a bit more special.

When looking at the Australian market, good looking low mileage IS250's appear to be in abundance at this price range whilst other Lexus models are not. For instance, there are far fewer ES and RX models available at this price range with less than 100,000 kms.

Would someone pardon my ignorance on the matter and inform me as to why this is the case; IS250 look like lovely cars, why are they relatively inexpensive compared to other models?

They are a little under powered, also they get carbon build up (can be fixed not to many $$) still a nice car, there are a lot in OZ, the 350 is a cracker, and the ISF is great 🙂
