CL1706
Hey all, Just picked up my IS250x, and for some reason when I load genuine CD's, there is no CD name, or Track Listing. Just comes up with CD1, CD2, etc....and Track 1, Track 2, Track 3 etc. Surely this ML sound system would be able to list the actual name of the CD and each track ? The CD's I have loaded are genuine CD's, not pirated music. Anyone know how I can work this ? Cheers.
steven250
The CD itself does not contain the names of the songs. When your PC does this in Media Player/ITunes etc it is getting the names from an online database. Until your car audio system can connect to the Internet there is no way to show the names with the original music CD. The answer is to rip the tracks using Windows Media Player etc to MP3/WMA and then burn a data disk of them. ML will then show track names. The other advantage is you can get quite a few albums on to a single MP3 disc. Nice choice of car, I have had my X for almost 2 months now. You can then select the album of choice and names will be displayed.
