FrankyX Posted December 17, 2008 Share Posted December 17, 2008 Regarding wheel protectant; it's been almost a week since washing the car and the dust is starting to build up as per normal. It would seem as though each time the wheels are cleaned that the treatment will need to be reapplied. Not a real problem and totally worth it to keep the wheels looking good between washes. IronFist Posted December 17, 2008 Share Posted December 17, 2008 Yeah, there hasn't been an "absolute" solution to rid of this brake dust unless you do a pad change. I think it's the heat of the brake disc, callipers etc which then "bake" the dust onto the rim.
